You can become more like God via theosis/divinization and man inherited death, not sin

Unlike the Catholic or Protestant service, the priest has his back to the people during the liturgy apart from his homily. Not saying this is perfect but far superior to other churches. I like the Quaker service.

You can become more like God via theosis/divinization and man inherited death, not sin

Well we know this and a lot of Orthodox are just pew seaters or rather standers, but that is not the point of what I said and instead of admitting you were wrong, you had to twist it. Not an honest reply. "John said earlier, that the Orthodox liturgy is man made. It is scripture actually, from...

Secret Service Snipers Were Aware Of The Gunman On The Roof "20 Minutes" Prior To Him Firing The First Shot At President Trump?

There is also the way that Trump, after he stood up raised his arm giving another gunman if present a good target, unhindered by the security around him not protecting him, especially his head, from further shots.

Leaders That Don't Support Good Works or Overcoming Sin

Just add a ps, there is the mellowing in maturity of course but we can pit that against ones obedience to Christ and on small things like what we eat. actually that is not a small thing. It directly affects how efficient we will be and how long we will keep going. When there used to be 'health...

Leaders That Don't Support Good Works or Overcoming Sin

Not sure I go along with the same observation marks. I often see more of mild/worsening dementia amongst elderly believers, and a general loss of patience towards others. I have read a lot about how bad eating habits contribute a great deal to cognitive decline (and physical) and where better to...

Leaders That Don't Support Good Works or Overcoming Sin

Often b vit multis do not contain enough thiamine b1for better brain function. I take extra. Tinnitus is a sign of some deficiency I think. We sometimes think that we have fully submitted till a crisis comes along as in the life of Wesley.

Leaders That Don't Support Good Works or Overcoming Sin

Hi sister. I understand about the poor memory. Do you take b vitamins? I agree that sanctification is also a process that begins when we come to Christ. It is a matter of being purified. It seems that once one reached a certain stage, they are then trained in walking in the Spirit but then they...

    OSAS : Gnostic Heresy

@marks I hope you don't mind me moving this post of yours here as it is discussing the same subject: Monday at 8:17 PM Add bookmark #528 I don't understand them that way. "There remains no more sacrifice", this means once you've learned about Jesus, you can't go back to offering sheep, and...

Leaders That Don't Support Good Works or Overcoming Sin

@Johann brother, I think you need to take a break here. It seems to me that you are being triggered and having a complex-trauma fueled 'fight' response because you strongly disagree with me. Debate can only take place correctly and in a godly manner, if the two parties show each respect, love...

Leaders That Don't Support Good Works or Overcoming Sin

I have already debated the issue of denying self on epi/John's thread with his video on the subject and have no interest in reviving it. It is selfISHNESS that is against kingdom rules. We need a self to survive. The old man is to die and the new man in Christ is to serve Him. Loving our...

Leaders That Don't Support Good Works or Overcoming Sin

It is the old man who is crucifed with Christ. Self is to be denied. They are not the same. You are the Buddhist. We are commanded to love self and others likewise.

Leaders That Don't Support Good Works or Overcoming Sin

This is what I have been arguing against here - the idea which quite a few held that 'self' is to be put to death. That is Buddhism and I do not teach it.

Leaders That Don't Support Good Works or Overcoming Sin

Here is the scriptural evidence for Theosis/entire sanctification. Thess 5:23And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

I already said that it is progressive as well as instant. You are misrepresenting me therefore Johann.

Leaders That Don't Support Good Works or Overcoming Sin

I am not Eastern Orthodox and will never be. I think they are very important because of the doctrines the early church did not teach like a great deal of Protestantism. God will judge us on whether we support these departures from the faith. The spirituality they taught via Theosis which is...
