Short video on unifying the church

I try and point to as much Scripture as possible, but I would still appreciate people watching this and seeking God's will for unity within the church. Doesn't mean we throw out our doctrine or associate excessively with heretics, BUT we do have a lot of pride to put aside in this area.

Your theology should make you less individualistic (video)

As a general comment to those who did not actually watch the video but are assuming this is about surrendering individual identity - that is NOT what I mean. The video is about not being individualistic and selfish and making it all about oneself as a Christian. We are NOT called to do that as...

Your theology should make you less individualistic (video)

@DNB an you please prove this using Scripture? Because Philippians 2:13 contradicts that statement you made, as do Philippians 1:6, Isaiah 26:12, Hebrews 13:21, Pslam 90:17, and 1 Thessalonians 2:13. Plus man is inherently sinful circa Romans 3:23, Ecclesiastes 7:20, Jeremiah 17:9, and 1 John...

Your theology should make you less individualistic (video)

I agree that these are some real problems - but the solution goes beyond what we can do and WHO we can turn to. And that's Jesus.

Start strong with God and abandon the individualism (video)

There is REJOICING in heaven for sinners who repent (Luke 15:7) - but God never saved us so we could just continue in sin. And individualism is indeed a sin:

Your theology should make you less individualistic (video)

I hope everyone here is trying to follow Jesus' great commands of loving God with everything we have and loving our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39). When we do this, we have no place for being individualistic in our own lives:

We're not supposed to be individualistic (video)

Studying the Bible and spending time in prayer and with other believers who are really seeking our Lord has helped me to realize this. It's not an easy realization, but God's calling to holiness is not one we are meant to go through alone.

YouTube can be fellowship ... right?

Actually, I do think it can work because I do respond to comments pretty well. Here, I'll start with a video on the importance of fighting against individualism in today's culture: Feel free to discuss!

    A YouTuber's Testimony

As much as I would appreciate the subscribers, I care more about helping people who are struggling in their walks with the Lord (hence my channel name). Please share around as you see fit for whomever this may help - AND I HAVE OTHER HELPFUL VIDEOS! Just thought this was a good place to start.

    Science and faith ARE compatible!

Thank you for the feedback - I'm sorry it was too loud. I'm definitely trying to make the music more subtle on future videos, and that will include the next parts of this mini-series before they go up.

    Science and faith ARE compatible!

Hello, Thank you for your question! After I finish posting the final part of the series in a bit, I can answer that, but it would be MUCH easier for me to remember to ask Kyle that if you just copy and paste those as a comment on one of the videos (though I think you'll find it's pretty clear...

    Who sins?

Everyone sins and is guilty - that's the message of the gospel!

    Just a note on Trump.

I agree his intent is for good and that we should support him, but support, to me, doesn't mean defending every bad thing he says. Support is supporting a person, not necessarily wrong actions, which I think a lot of people have trouble with, even myself sometimes. Biblically, we are called to...

Christian Scientist --> Atheist --> Saved by Jesus

Hey all, thought I'd take some time to re-introduce myself. I'm a Christian YouTuber who is trying to help people come to better understand Jesus as I myself come to better understand Jesus. It's been quite a journey for me that seems to keep going, but with that said, one thing that helps a lot...

    Coming of age with God

    Coming of age with God

Tried to make that title a reference to the "Foster the People" song, but it just came out corny. Oh well. I'm a future occupational therapist (last semester of school is coming up!), and I became Christian about 6 years ago. Since reading is usually harder than watching (especially on a...

    Spiritual Eye to discern

I've had quite a few revelations that the Spirit has really worked into my heart over the years, and they're great, but one of the more recent ones is the way that unbelief can slip into the lives of us believers. Sure, we have a foundation in Christ, but that doesn't mean we can't lose heart in...
