10 SINS THAT OFTEN SLIP BY AS “OK” IN OUR DAILY LIFE:
1. Holding grudges
2. Justifying wrong attitudes
3. Putting your desires first (before God)
4. Feeling annoyed over the success of others
5. Getting hurt easily and reacting out of the hurt
6. Underpaying (taking advantage of others’ work)
7. Skimping on the work you are being paid to do
8. Criticizing and finding fault — secretly or outwardly
9. Focusing on the cares of the world — putting your full attention and trust in the “things” of the world, like money, power, possessions and image. When we allow that to define us, we lose focus of who we are in Christ. This doesn’t mean not caring about what happens in the world.
10. Gossiping or speaking unkindly of those not present.

I will be honest and confess I have held grudges...
Father, I confess that I have sinned by holding grudges against others instead of forgiving them and letting it go.
I am truly sorry for my attitude in this and ask your help in changing it.
Forgive me Father
In Jesus Name I Pray..

Dang it you got me @Heart2Soul.

Am so thankful to rest in this my dear sister;

“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

love you, and all here you all are an awesome group of people even people who may no be particularly fond of me or I of them. I love you anyway cause it’s Christ through me that causes me to have that desire through all prejudices and bias we may have!

Hold on to the Lord Jesus Christ friends by faith.

The intention here is to show members who say if we sin we aren't truly saved that everyone sins....

Okay , I’ll jump in here and light a fuse ..haha!

if Jesus took our sins to the cross to take back what Adam gave away to the serpent . Do New Testament Christian sin?
or they transgress against each other.

I should have used your text in my post above …I believe Jesus took it…He was indeed the end of the law, and we do not dwell under the law.

Psalm 50 (51 in Hebrew): Have mercy on me, O God, in the greatness of Your love, and in the abundance of your tender mercies, wipe out my offence. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I am well aware of my iniquity, and my sin is before me always...

Why is it that we tend to fight and bicker so much over theology and different aspects and perspectives of the Bible?

Even as Christians?
Because we need to be right!...otherwise that makes us wrong and we would have to do some soul searching...hmmmm:eek:

Makes you think.....
Here is my belief....if sin came upon mankind by one man....Adam....making all of us sinners...then God had to undo that by using one man to restore us back to His Righteousness...
I have seen God using the same door Satan opened and entered into my life and going back through that door and closing it...
I hope I am making sense.

Goos thoughts, and true! But as others do these things, and we do as well... Let us not forget about forgiveness. These things are terrible, but we should forgive. Not forgiving is also a sin. Matthew 6 says if you don't forgive others, your father will not forgive you. I suppose this comes under the holding a grudge sin, though...

I would think grudging someone is the same as not forgiving them...

8. Mostly secretly but then, nothing is secret to God.
Hate this about myself as it doesn't take long for The Lord to kick my own memory in and then feel like a hypocrite for even thinking a critical thought about somebody else, when I mysef have done the same thing. Sry bout the run on sentence, hey, I'm on drugs, and cannot be held responsible! Ahahaha...:D

Seriously though, Iv'e seen many Christians do all those things you listed. God does not ever wink at sin!

Good stuff H2S
