Since you refuse to prove any of your beliefs can be tested by the Bible, I'll just have to assume you will continue to go on declaring things without defending them. There is a big difference between declaring belief by quoting Scriptures and proving your beliefs are truly biblical! All of the Christian cults quote Scriptures! However, their beliefs are *not* truly biblical!

The "escape" Jesus specifically advised his Disciples to pursue took place in the context of the Roman invasion of Jerusalem 66-70 AD. This judgment God was bringing against unbelieving Jews, and not against believing Jews.

Therefore, Jesus advised them to pursue escape when the Romans, the "Abomination of Desolation," stood in the holy place, ie around the walls of the city and in preparation of making siege. In history, this "escape" has been confirmed, when Christians fled to Pella.

We are always to escape judgments that are meant exclusively for the wicked. God does not judge those who are living for Him and obeying Him.

However, this does not mean God doesn't leave believers in the world where we suffer various calamities caused by unbelievers. Because we live in a fallen world we do suffer various troubles. Because we live nearby sinners we are sometimes persecuted by those sinners.

So we are not free from all suffering caused by the ungodly. But sometimes judgments come down only upon the wicked, and we are given escape from them.

When the Bible says we are "not appointed to wrath," it is not saying we won't go through times in which the wicked are punished. Many suffered innocently in the world wars, even though it was God's punishment upon the wicked, and the innocent were merely peripheral casualties.

God does allow sometimes there to be victims of His "friendly fire." When we are "collateral damage" is does not mean we are suffering "God's wrath"--not any more than Jesus himself suffered God's anger when he died on the cross!

So there are times when we can escape and times when we can't. We have to be listening to God, and be willing to obey Him in all things.

The idea, however, that we will *never* suffer God's wrath has only to do with eternal punishment. Some mistakenly believe the "Wrath of God" is to be equated with the "Great Tribulation," or Antichrist's 3.5 year reign of terror.

But the Day of Wrath is actually a single day--the day Christ returns to bring eternal judgment upon the army of the Antichrist. This is an historical judgment that will directly lead to eternal judgment.

Christians are freed from eternal judgment--both good and bad Christians. We are all liberated from eternal punishment because we have embraced Christ as our "lawyer." ;) This is what it means to escape the Day of Wrath, or "God's Wrath." It has nothing to do with escaping the reign of Antichrist. The book of Revelation clearly commends Christians who go through this period of time faithfully! And we are *not* to mess with the words of that book!

You can get money as how often I’ve heard said of someone standing on a street corner and young and able “why don’t they get a job?”. But the treasure above can only be given of God. Question is: what is our treasure we bestow? Lights burning?

It's not based on my belief. I am not a Rapture theology believer. When God calls me home, I will go from life to life. Just because I'm not traveling by air ain't, gonna mean I'm not gonna get there. All humans pass from this life to the next. The key is whether you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior and you have the seal of redemption dwelling in you [The Holy Spirit] not whether you believe in the Rapture doctrine..

What will you do when the proverbial SHTF and you are still here? will you trust in your theology or in God.

If one is not prepared, then they are not prepared. I am waiting for the rapture, but watching 2 billion people die in the next year is not going to be fun.

I'm not sure what you mean by saying I am making fun of the bible. Does "not being" a Rapture believer, mean that you are making fun of the bible? I live in NZ. The rapture theology is an American thing. You may be surprised how many people do not believe such things and how many christians are not pre-trib believers.

No, the rapture is from the Bible, and the Apostle Paul. Of course it is not a "thing". That is why Satan has deceived a lot, because they make it a "thing". People want to talk about beliefs a lot. That is so they can be catagorized and viewed any way the winds blow. I am not surprised. It has been going on since the 1st century.

Knowing the truth comes from the Bible. It is not in doctrine, theology, nor human interpretation. The reason Jesus preached we needed to be prepared, is because the majority of the church is not prepared. They cannot even agree on what the Bible says about the last few years on earth, before the Second Coming.
