Grabbed, drugged and raped, teens now fear society's rejection--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Posted: January 19, 200911:29 pm Eastern© 2009 WorldNetDaily Two more Christian sisters in Pakistan have been kidnapped, drugged and assaulted and now fear rejection from society after they were freed from their Muslim kidnappers. It is the second similar incident in that nation, and in the earlier case one of the sisters has not yet been returned to her family. According to a report from Compass Direct, the new case involved Parvisha Masih, 18, and Sanam Masih, 14, who reported three Muslim men kidnapped them, drugged them and sexually assaulted them over a period of two weeks in captivity."We are happy to return to the family, but we are feeling ashamed because there is no respect for us in society now," Parvisha Masih said, according to the report. "We don't want to go back to school and have to face our friends." The report said they still face a legal battle over their abduction that probably will bring them into contact again with their captors, who forced them to convert to Islam. The sisters have given a magistrate in Gujranwala statements about their case following a series of statements they provided in Karachi, where they had been taken by their captors, the report said. Three men have been charged with kidnapping in the case. Katherine Karamat, an officer for the Center for Legal Aid Assistance and Settlement, reported one of the men allegedly offered one of the girls an opportunity to train in a beauty salon. He said he would give both sisters a ride to work, and picked them up Nov. 12, the report said. They then were given drugged beverages, and the sisters reported they were taken to a motel and assaulted. The sisters later were taken to a madrassa where a mufti certified they had converted to Islam and they were given new names, the report said. WND reported earlier on the case involving sisters Saba Masih, 13, and Aneela, 10. WND reported human rights lawyers won a ruling returning custody of the 10-year-old Christian to her parents after she reportedly was kidnapped by Muslims who then claimed custody. The lawyers still are pursuing custody of 13-year-old Saba Masih. In that case, the two sisters were kidnapped when they stopped to purchase fruit while traveling to their uncle's home in June, the report said. The 10-year-old now has confirmed the two were tied up and locked in a room and forced to make professions of Islamic faith.Court officials there decided the older sister was old enough to make her own decision, and she "chose" to remain with the man who "married" her shortly after the June 26 abduction.
