Hamas apparently offered the Media FREE accommodations in their Command Headquarters Building, much like the terrorists launch rockets from an apartment complex. They know that the Israeli military will not endanger innocent civilians, so the Israeli Military must WARN any occupants before destroying the building, while the terrorists escape.​

... and I'm still expecting Syria to jump in at some point ...

All Hamas has to do is to stop firing the rockets and it would all stop. Hamas doesn't care about their on innocent civilians who are just wanted to get on with life just like everyone else. Hamas' hatred for Israel overrules care for innocent civilians. They started it by firing the rockets and Israel has the right to defend itself and to end the threat.

Do we blame a shopkeeper when an armed robbers comes in and threatens him with a gun, and he pulls out his own gun and shoots him dead? Doesn't that shopkeeper have the right to defend himself against a lethal threat? So why not Israel?

If you look into the history of the region, it was never originally called Palestine. The name was given by the occupying powers. It was always Israel, and the land that God gave to the children of Israel was partitioned by the British who agreed that the Jews could return to the land, but then shafted them by blockading and doing everything they could to stop the Jewish people landing in Israel. That is why God took the empire away from the British. Shaft Israel and God comes to the party to defend it. You will notice that the British empire started to fall apart after the Second World War and became a second-rate power in the world to the United States. The reason why the United States remains a strong power is that it supports Israel.

It is interesting that Israel is always condemned when it defends itself against attacks by the Arab nations, but nothing is said against the aggression of the Arab nations against Israel. And out of all the countries that get to serve on the U.N. security council, Israel has never been invited.

Also, even though it was clear that if Iraq had developed nuclear weapons it would have used them against Israel, the U.N. condemned Israel for eliminating the threat by destroying the Iraqui nuclear development facilities. In actual fact there were a sense of relief right around the Arab world when those facilities were destroyed, because Iraq could have started a nuclear holocaust by using nuclear weapons against Israel.

I fully support Israel, because they are God's chosen people who have their right to have the whole land that God originally gave them, and it is the Palestinians who are occupying the land that God gave to Israel.

God will not support those who don't support Israel.

If the British empire is declining because of Israel, why is it that the America is on the slide as well seeing they support Israel?

I can't agree with your narrative Paul. The primary reason is that God's protection of Israel was conditional upon them keeping the covenant. When they became belligerent after many warnings their protection was forfeited and others overran them. History attests to this as does scripture. As a nation they have unequivocally rejected God's Messiah.

They wanted a Messiah who dominated to fulfill their own desire for power and the humble Nazarene just didn't cut it for them....in fact they knew beyond a shadow of doubt that Jesus was the promised one but they chose a murderer instead.....and rightly did Jesus say after he left the Temple for the last time, 'your house is left to you desolate'

....and just look at the country....for the most part a a barren landscape inline with what God declared would happen if they forsook him.

I've been there visiting...the attitudes of both sides were really apparent and very thinly veiled.

Israel is furious with Hamas. Had more than enough out of them. Hamas is intent on gaining Israel's assets by any means other than earning it. They believe that Israel has stolen their money by evil means and are justified in taking it.

I suppose any side will demonise the other....I mean bombs and rockets are not manufactured to look pretty in a parade....if you make them you need to manufacture a reason to use them otherwise, why all the expense?....history tells us the boys always like a bang and will spin any BS to justify one.
