????
So in other words . . . . no, it's wrong to fight the arabs, because that's 'racist'. What about them attacking us?????
Disillusion. People today are full of it.
Didn't watch the clip...my internet sucks! But I did want to comment on what you've said...presuming the clip said that we shouldn't fight the Arabs based on 'racism'. And you're right...they attacked us. We mustn't forget that while they declared war on America and 'democracy' really they attack the freedom Christ gives us. Sure America (and the rest of us too!) are not perfect, and we've abused that freedom, but yes, people are delusional to think that even if we pious they would have left us alone. They worship a false god, and the bible tells us that that if not God....then it's Satan, in one form or another. This is a war, have no doubt, but a spiritual and supernatural one. And as such its of foremost importance for us Christians to pray like crazy and to dedicate all we can to getting the message of the gospel to the deceived people over there. Our focus should be on saving souls.
But on the other front...soldiers, fighting, war....is it unbiblical to stand up against a force that would wish us and our God dead? How often in history...bible history and other, has Satan, in one way or another, searched for a way to kill God's people? It's been a constant theme of history, but we also see again and again that God and his people will not be silenced and will not die out. If our brothers and sisters in history had done nothing, had not fought for the right and necessity of their existence, then we would be living (or dying) in a Muslim country today. I know many say that Jesus told us to 'turn the other cheek'...but when he said that he was talking about loving our enemies. And sometimes it's most loving to stand up to them...to take a stand and say 'no'. How could allowing God's people and Gods news and gospel to die out be loving for the world? It isn't. The whole world....Arabs included...maybe even especially....need the good news, and need to have their false god revealed to them. If they come at us with force, then to enable them to hear such things, then yes...I believe it is biblical for us to fight back. We're not just fighting for "America" or the ideals of democracy....we're fighting for Jesus and for the furthering of his grace.
That's just my take on it, but yeah, I'd say you're right...
