I don't see the Holy Spirit forbidding a certain kinds of meat here, either:

Acts 15:28-29 "For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well."

Some of the Law's clean meats were offered also to idols so that cannot be referring to a certain kind of meat, but must be speaking of not partaking of portions of the meat with those who are making the offering upon the alter of an idol.

And what does that mean anyway, "Law cannot save from sin"? Ok! Who ever said it could. God's laws let's us know what SIN is! God's laws let's us know what is wrong and what is right!

So how does, "Sin's advantage in the law" and "Law cannot save from sin.", help those reading this lesson understand how Paul can say flee fornication, but at the same time (according to you) tells us the law of fonication does not have to be kept? This is what needs to be explained!

If anything, the verses you quoted confirms that Paul knew God's and kept God's laws.

As far as execution of law breakers, Jesus gave us the example to follow!

John 8
[3] And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,

[5] Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
[6] This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
[7] So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

Notice Jesus never said it was wrong, or even tried to stop those from throwing the stone. He just made them think, "Am I so perfect that I can condemn this women?"

So with that said, could I excecute someone for a crime, knowing I myself am not sinless? Well I got to tell you.....it depends on the crime!

And here is an example; If I caught someone, redhanded, killing a member of my family, though I am not perfect, I think I could pull the trigger!

Could I kill someone else...say a homosexuals, adulterers, a thief......probably not!

But as Jesus gave us to use as an example below......we do not HAVE to do it.....but He never says we cannot. He does ask that we examine ourselves before doing it though. He tells us to leave it all up to HIm at His coming!

Now just WHO do you think those are that are being gathered together to burn? Those that broke God's laws!

Let's look at the verse in question and pray for understanding while reading it;

Gal.5
[1] Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Now before going any further, I already know most will not understand what Paul is saying here. And the reason is that most do not understand that throughout Pauls writings, he speaks of (2) sets of laws. One set of laws are still enforced, and it will be these laws ALL men are judged. Then there are the set of laws, Paul speaks of, that have been done away with and nailed to the cross.

If you were to read Paul's entire letter to the Galatians, and pray for understanding, you will see that the laws he speaks, are in fact those that have been nailed to the cross, which is why he says, "...Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law".

The reader needs to understand that NO MAN can be cleared of sin by trying to obey ANY laws. The ONLY thing that has cleared us from our sins is the blood of Christ. And by that I mean that we have been spared dying the second death, because Christ shed His blood for us.

What Paul is telling these Galatians is that, trying to keep the law of circumcision will not clear you of sin; Christ has already done that. But Paul is NOT saying that you do not have to be circumcised. Does any verse above say that a person does NOT have to be circumcised? I know it may seem that it says that, but it does not.


Think about it....do you think that Paul taught the Gentiles a DIFFERENT gospel than what Peter taught "...those of the circumcision"? Not according to God's word;

"But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. ....But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter; (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)"

Christ does NOT have (2) agenda's. Christ does NOT have one set of laws that will grant the Jews salvation and another set of laws that will grant Gentiles salvation.

Now let's use common sense here, would the revelation of Jesus Christ direct Paul to teach men NOT to keep God's laws? What ever the Jews have to do for salvation is the same for the Gentiles. It was like that in the OT, and it still stands today!

Let's read what God's word has to say about being circumcised vs. not and who will be allowed to enter into His kingdom. To find it we must go to the same book that ALL of the apostles used and taught from....the OT! Let's read of a time of Christ 1000yr rule.....

Ezek.44
[9] Thus saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.


Now...to answer your question, "Were you circumcised to obey the law?"

Not YET! But I will!

But it will NOT be done to try to redeem myself from the curse of the law, for that law has been nailed to Christ's cross and was replaced with the blood of Christ. I will be circumcised to keep God's "other" covenat and law; the law that requires ALL males to be circumcsied;

[10] This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
[12] And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
[13] He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
[14] And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

How else will I be able to go and worship before God, during Christ 1000yr rule?

I think, Eccl, that you are "unsettling" people. Paul wishes you'd emasculate yourself.

Note... If circumcision was something to be done why didn't Titus do it? Paul speaks positively toward it and speaks ill against the people who were saying otherwise.

Apparently Paul was distraught by false teachers like you because he was writing with big letters.
According to Paul, people who want to push circumcision are idolaters.



And unlike your heretical view, Paul does command us not to circumcise.

What good, would two circumcisions do?

What Paul is telling these Galatians is that, trying to keep the law of circumcision will not clear you of sin; Christ has already done that. But Paul is NOT saying that you do not have to be circumcised. Does any verse above say that a person does NOT have to be circumcised? I know it may seem that it says that, but it does not.

You clearly do not know which Covenant you are under. "Fallen from grace" and "estranged from Christ" means Hellbound.

You guys sure are stuck on circumcision. I have answered the question. It is obvious you are not satisfied with my answer, but I already told you, it will not change.

Since you guys are so into circumcision, here is something for you to consider.

If you will read in Ezekiel, from the 40 chapter to the end it speaks NOTHING but Christ kingdom here on earth. Now let's read a verse from it....

Ezek.44
[9] Thus saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.

Again....this speaks of a future time here on earth. The one that is revealing this vision to Ezekiel is none other that the Lord.

Now we know for a fact that ALL nation WILL have to come to worship the Lord in Jerusalem....

"And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles."
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it."

But at the same time God's word says the following, "...No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary..."

Now how will those that have not gone under the knife be able to obey God's law!

Oh yes! It will be a law that MUST be obeyed!

I say you're in the wrong Covenant. The New says:

Galatians 5:3-4 (NKJV)
[sup]3 [/sup]And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. [sup]4 [/sup]You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

But Paul is NOT saying that you do not have to be circumcised. Does any verse above say that a person does NOT have to be circumcised? I know it may seem that it says that, but it does not.

I will be circumcised to keep God's "other" covenat and law; the law that requires ALL males to be circumcsied;

So, Eccl, are you living in a damned state until you are circumcised? When do you plan on being circumcised?

And contrary to your claims, Paul does say NOT to be circumcised.
Let him not seek circumcision.
Each one should remain in the condition in which he was called

Ezek. 40 to the end of the book was a FUTURE vision. It speaks of a time when Christ will rule on this earth. It is for ALL nations that remain and have survived the Great Tribulation Period and the Lords Wrath.

Again....ALL that are to come to worship before the Lord MUST be circumcisied. SO if you are blessed to have made it through and are among those that will be taught by the Lord for 1000yrs you MUST be circumcisied! God commands it!

And if you do not come to worship before the Lord, there will be no rain for your crops. Like the commercial says, "You can pay me now, or you can pay me later." Either way, God's word is true! Let's read it again to confirm.....

This event has not taken place! You cannot get around it! It is to happen in the future! ALL that are left WILL keep ALL of God's commandment or suffer! Here it is again.....

And what will be the punishment for those that do NOT come before the Lord to worship Him? Let's read that also....

"And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain."

"This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles."
