Jude 1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
What an out of context and just flat- out dumb response...

Jude 1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
The Old Testament which is a type of shadow of things to come, says...
Exodus 30:20 When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the LORD:
Jesus said...
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Jesus Commanded...
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Peter's response (with all the apostles with him)...
Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
[38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Peter obeys Jesus and "commands" baptism...
Acts 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
Paul himself was baptized...
Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Paul connects Holy Ghost with water baptism...
Acts 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
[3] And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
If you need something "new" and "different", you may try the book of Mormon or the book of Enoch.
The scriptures of the Bible seem to bore some folks to death.
Yep, only one way....
, which is a declaration
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
By having one's sins remitted per this way, one is saved.
Yawn...I repeat...
Don't be ridiculous! What is extremely boring is your "Johnny one note" repetition of one verse in Acts over and over and over and over and over .. ad nauseum.
I'm not sure what your need is to be compulsively quoting a single verse, but it is BORING!!!!!!!
LOLYou need a new translation, since the one you're using isn't communicating God's truth to your confused mind.
I have shocking news for you: the King James Version is just that -- a version -- and one that is leading you into all kinds of misunderstandings.
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. You obviously have no understanding of being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. This is not water baptism, which is a "statement" that you're burying the old, sinful man. Romans 6:4, "Therefore we have been buried with him through baptism into death, in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may live a new life."
Baptism does not and cannot remove sin! Only by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believing in His name, can one receive eternal life.
That is not true to be precise, because Jesus said to be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. If you are claiming it must be done in the name of Jesus, you are making Jesus out a liar. In addition to that, the thief on the cross was not baptized, and there were believers in Acts that received the Holy Ghost baptism and spoke in tongues before they were baptized, and that will not happen to an unsaved person. The Holy Spirit came upon them when they believed.Yes, baptized in the name of Jesus Christ to be precise.
30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized,...
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; ....
Amazing, huh?
You are awesome! You quoted Acts 2:38!
You are not embarrased of it, like Jim and the others are!
Okay, Acts 10, here goes....
43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. ....
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved...
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
I love doing that, don't you?

Excellent post.
Everyone must read it and think hard.

What is the name of the son, per Matt 28:19?That is not true to be precise, because Jesus said to be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Like this?...“Anybody That *ASKS* to be Saved WILL be Saved” .....
Don't you think it is cool to post the passages and not skip the baptism parts?44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word
What *I* love is taking Scripture and proving you wrong for the world to see...
You keep evading the subject of our debate....nobody is saying that Baptisms did not take place....nobody Is denying that the listeners in Peters crowds got the Holy Spirit sometimes after they got baptized...
The issue is that you claimed that nobody got that Spirit unless they were baptized first.....Scripture has proven you wrong....Jesus Breathed That Spirit into some....some got it when hands were laid on them , and some got it just by hearing and believing the Gospel being taught “ AS” it was being taught, as my verse proves.....
Somebody needs to stick a fork in you because YOU are “Done”......The Truth Of this matter is out there for all to see.....People can stay in their Confusion along with you, or they can simply Believe the Bible....You’ve been BUSTED and only Spiritually Blind men like you and “ loser” Er....ah... “ user” , I mean, will not be gifted by God to realize it.....
So, Acts teaches this....Yes, and in that “ reading” , make sure that you “read” the Transitional Book Of Acts to the end....with “ Falser” , I’d even settle for Ten Chapters—— it’s that Tenth one that blows his Hog Wash , so- called doctrine out of the water...
Acts 10:44......” While Peter was still Speaking, the Holy Spirit fell upon all of the people in the room”..... it means nothing that they were baptized a month, a week or an hour later—- they got the Holy Spirit That Saved Them BEFORE any water entered the scene.....case closed....only a Stiff - Necked Blindman could deny this ...
