Rechab is just another spelling for Rahab. There's lots of misspelled names in the KJV. Get yourself a more accurate translation or maybe just read the old testament carefully.

The KJV is not an inspired translation and the NKJV is widely accepted as more accurate.

The English standard version translates the same:

The blood lines are given to validate Jesus' legal right to the throne of David and the fulfillment of prophecy concerning the Messianic promises, not as some proof of righteous parentage and lineage.
