Plus, I converted it into a gif to make it easier to share, and that also resulted in further quality degradation.

Regardless, you can see what appears to be a very tall black creature walking from right to left. The red circle (which I did not add) only focuses on the head of the creature, but it seems the creature continues all the way down to the ground.

It's because cell phones use wide angle lenses and therefore these videos always need to be cropped. With a wide angle lens everything appears further away than it is, so if you want to bring attention to something in the distance you have to crop the video and then you lose video quality.

I was just looking at it on a news forum yesterday. Seems strange it was on new years day and it's only going viral now. Seems like a fun story, a spooky story.

I don't know what it was. Normally when something like this happens there's 20 or 30 Twitter posts with phone videos. But with this there's not a thing. No phone videos, no store cameras, no police videos. A woman on a rumble video was funny. She said the power went out in the area for 61,000 customers. She's a Bible Sister, but she has a sense of humor.

It also precludes me from believing that a firecracker call would bring out zero fire trucks, or that a fight call would bring out zero ambulances. It further precludes me from believing that dozens of different people from all walks of life, and in fact from different parts of the world, would all decide, for no reason at all, to make up the exact same story, at the exact same time.

So yes, we should use our common sense, and recognize that the official story makes no sense, and that something happened at the mall that day.
