No, the scriptures are not the final say on everything. That is not biblical.

Everything in the scriptures is indeed the word and authority of God. However, within their contents it is written that a final word would yet come only after "He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way" (2 Thessalonians 2:7).

Also in the scriptures there are two passages that indicate that there are some things that God has sealed, that would not come until "the time of the end" (Daniel 12:9) and "in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound" (Revelation 10:7).

In other words, the test of confirming everything as final with the scriptures--is only so good, and not the final word from God.

He who restrains has in fact restrained the scriptures just as He has "all language" under "confusion" (Genesis 11:7). Then, even after Christ ascended and sent the Holy Spirit, the scriptures were only to be "spiritually discerned" (1 Corinthians 2:14), beginning at Pentecost. Before this, only a preview was given by Jesus, when He asked His disciples who He was, to which Peter answered--not by flesh and blood or worldly means, but by knowledge given to him directly from the Father. But even all written scripture--is not everything.

All who study the scriptures should be clear on this--because it is written there--but also because disregarding the above conditions, means missing those things that were yet to come.

If you're predictions don't come true, aren't you just lying to yourself?

That's my biggest problem with people and their ideas lately for things to come.

Thing to look forward to? Dining in the Kingdom, Recieving rewards from God, having a glorfied body, a resurrection of condemnation (unbelievers?), resurrection of life (believers), resurrection which is better than the normal (faith of those closely towards God himself, rather than further away), being part of the Kingdom when you die, while living here you build up spiritual treasures in heaven and that is where your heart will be.

Now all those things aren't lies, in my opinion. Those are things to look forward to while being an alien here on this planet.

That's true. But that was a word given long ago when things had time to play out. The difference now, is that the time written of that would finish the mystery of God as He declared to His servants the prophets is upon us--and the wait-and-see approach is not going to work this time.

Also true, and yet that does not speak to the purpose for which we who are in Christ were left "alive and remaining" in the world (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17).

We have the unique purpose of spiritually receiving directly from the Father, the finish of the mystery of God. Yet, most are in slumber, not even able to acknowledge that there is a finish that was sealed and only to be revealed when the seventh angel is about to sound.

Some people spiritualize stuff to much or whatever, that’s my opinion.

What’s there to finish that Jesus hasn’t already?

What is left for you to finish if Jesus hasn’t finished everything already?

Careful, "spiritualizing" stuff--the things of the Spirit, is Godly.

What was to be finished well after the time Jesus walked the earth, is what was foretold (as I mentioned in the OP): The sealed portion of the mystery presented to Daniel, and that which the seven thunders uttered in the presence of John that was also sealed. As for the specifics, it has been given to me to reveal, which I have been doing. All of which is biblical--making this a wakeup call.

Good point. How does one get their hands on ALL scripture?

1. All scripture that was available to Paul and Timothy. 2 Tim 3:16

2. And All scripture that is available to us today. I'm thinking we have found more fragments of it over the past 2000 years.

Some may argue that it was a bit premature to close the biblical canon and it would've been best to leave it open. But hey, who are they to ague against the experts of the day.

But then again, don't we have the encouragement to test these experts, super apostles or bishops/priests who made these decisions on what the church should have as their documented standard to live by and believe.

The scriptures (meaning what is written) is absolutely true and not to be questioned. It is all true, except leaning on one's own understanding, there is an interpretation problem, biblically referred to as "the teachings of men." That is where the test of every spirit is called for.

As for all scripture--all that is written is not "all", as the scriptures themselves clarify that it is not all scripture that is "all", but rather "all truth"--which only comes by the Holy Spirit (written or not). This is what Jesus referred to in telling Peter hour His church would be built--that is no at all limited to the scriptures, but rather given by the Father to people as He choose according to His purpose. Which is not "all" given to "all" all at once, but rather has it is written, "precept upon precept...here a little there a little." Which has been, and is, a great stumbling block--as if God would give "all" equally during the church age. But that is not what is written. The first example with Peter was not with "all" the apostles, but only with Peter--selectively. Which is God way and established method--and--He does not change.

And then there is the "finish" ("of the mystery of God"--"all truth") coming just before the end--as it is written.

Why not? That's not what the scriptures say. Paul encouraged his readers to question and test what he said.

1 Cor 10:15 I speak as to sensible ones; judge for yourselves what I say.

Judge - call in question, condemn, determine.

Paul's words being considered scripture.

2Pe 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
It is all true, except leaning on one's own understanding, there is an interpretation problem, biblically referred to as "the teachings of men." That is where the test of every spirit is called for.
As mentioned above. Paul was only a man. Scripture tells us this.

11 The people saw what Paul did. They called with loud voices in the language of the people of Lycaonia, “The gods have become like men and have come down to us.”
14 When Paul and Barnabas heard this, they ran among the people. They tore their clothes and cried out, 15 “Why are you doing this? We are only men with feelings like yours.

As for all scripture--all that is written is not "all", as the scriptures themselves clarify that it is not all scripture that is "all", but rather "all truth"--which only comes by the Holy Spirit (written or not).
Not sure I follow you here.

But God did change His ways of doing things. He spoke through His prophets. He then spoke through His Son Jesus. Heb 1:1&2

Then He spoke through Jesus's 12
Mat 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. and 72 disciples. Luke 10:1 After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go.
Luk 10:16 He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.

Then God changed His focus from the ones who rejected those He sent, to focus on the Gentiles.

Now He speaks through the church from all nations.
And then there is the "finish" ("of the mystery of God"--"all truth") coming just before the end--as it is written.
Yes, through Christ's body the church hey.

Have you got a copy of ALL SCRIPTURE. If you do then many people would find it beneficial and profitable for sure.
Do you claim that GOD was incapable of ensuring the Bible we have today is all that He wants us to know ?

Paul did not decide what was and was not to be included in scripture, nor any man or group of men. He spoke of himself, that anyone who questioned what he was saying, was good to do so--for their own rational. But it is God alone who has decided what is His eternal word, which then came to be so. Meanwhile, during Paul's life and the time of his ministry, he referred people to trusting in God rather than himself, that his words, if from God, would past the test and not become void, as words from God and not him personally.

Galatians 1:11-12
11 But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man.
12 For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.

It is all the Word whether seemingly by one source or another. Those are all God speaking in His way. That has not changed--God has not changed.

As for the church, no the body does not speak, but the Head. Those of the church, thus either speak of their own against the command of God to be silent, or it is not them who speak but the Spirit who speaks.

Someone said that was about the first century. Is that false?
That is false.

The matter of restraint, is restraint from God, which is upon all who are born into this word from beginning to end. It is then also referring to the time when God will make manifest (reveal in this world) the enactment of His revealing the restraint being take away. In other words, just as the Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world, but then made manifest in Christ at His coming, so too will God's restraint being taken away be made manifest when the times are fulfilled.
