Nancy Grace showing the justified outrage over an 11-year old murdered on her way to school....

So horrible and heart-wrenching...and for the mother....If this is truly the person that murdered this girl, or some other male person, he needs to be institutionalized into a mental ward. And then if somehow cured of his ills, and I doubt that, then placed in a high security prison awaiting his dead-man walk to his execution.

An official statement from the family... “Audrii Danielle Cunningham will be missed, but hopefully not forgotten as we would like to ask Legislators and Law Enforcement both locally and in Washington, DC to look at the loophole that prevented us from knowing what Don McDougal was, a convicted sex offender. The sex offender registry is a valuable tool that parents and grandparents everywhere use to keep their children safe from these violent predators. This failing of the system is a crime that we cannot allow to go overlooked,” - ‘The system failed us:’ Audrii Cunningham’s father, grandmother release statement following her death

Public comments on this statement read as such...

Compassion is fine but a parent’s #1 responsibility is to their child. He clearly displayed who he was on his body. No child should be exposed to someone like him whether he was on a registry or not. There were plenty of other reasons that were obvious with just a pair of eyes and ears.

You don’t need a registry to know not let an unknown man with a tattoo of swastika on his shoulder to give your 11yr old daughter a ride to anywhere.

When I lived in California there was a map you could view that showed the sex offenders location because they had to register. I had a look at it for the area I lived in and interesting to note was that the concentration of sex offenders was around schools.
