Over 52 % of the people wanted freedom from slavery to the EU. And there was nothing very complicated in saying ""Bye. It's been nice knowing you". All it needed was moral integrity. The EU could not have done one single thing to the UK in retaliation if the UK had actually cut off the EU within a couple of weeks. But it takes guts to stand up to the unprincipled globalists who are lining their own pockets at the expense of the people. And none of the so-called British Tories are Tories. There was no way that we could just up and leave in two weeks, and why on earth would we have wanted to - at the time the 52% of us that voted out were amazed that we won - we had no reason to doubt that the process would not go ahead. Irrespective of how most of us feel about the EU , we still need to have some kind of relationship with Europe - just walking away would have not been a good way forward. So I will agree to disagree with you on that one.

Oh I am sure there are Marxists , but to be honest I don't think it is clear cut between the parties any more. Years ago labour and conservatives were very different, now it's all a bit jumbled up !
I actually like the new independent group that has started up, as a result of all the problems with Brexit - they will certainly get my vote at the next election.

When I lived in Scotland they were pushing hard to become independent. Really hated England.
Reality is England and Scotland have never been friends I believe.
I knew people from both and liked both, they were different.
The RAF was annoying. On training flights they loved to practice strafing runs on anyone they caught in the open on our base.
Being a RAF base from World War I they got plenty of opportunities.
I don't think that the UK left like Putin at all.
Putin is not a communist at all or backward but the best forward thinking Leader that the world has, not to mention the only one with morals and a future that will benefit his Nations peoples best interest at heart.
The West is undermining Russia growth and if it was not for such then Russia would be booming, we do not need all this childish hatred of Russia, it's insane to carry on with all the old hatred of years gone by, Putin has given up on Communism and pointed it all out for what it truly was, if anyone would be bothered to look into what he says about it all, so that's the last thing that he wants !
If the West only embraced Russia all the real problems would disappear, but for the new age West Socialist lefts who are desperate to become Communist, so we have a problem because of that type causing all the problems.
The Conservative West do not have a Problem with Putin, such would only embrace Russia and help the people out of the backward past and into a future of harmony and build up respect of their people, but the problem with the new age Marxist Socialist it that they have caused nothing but hell for the Russian People, not to mention only worked to create total distrust.

I am not sure , certainly northern island and Scotland do, not sure about Wales and England, think it's a bit hit and miss - I think the whole British Isles is totally fed up with it all - so I guess we have a kind of unity !! Lol

England, Ireland and Scotland have always disagree with each other.
Look at Northern Ireland environment. Many bloodied battles when they were one country between Protestants and Catholics.
Historically a lot of bloodshed between Scotland and England as well.
I believe that is a result of having monarchies.

When I worked in intelligence I was very familiar with Putin. He was and remains a body KGB.
They even put spies on every floor of their own apartment complexes to find dissidents.
He had no problem killing his own people just for disagreeing with him.
He conquered other nations and is now doing it again. He wants the USSR back.
He is our enemy just as China is.
That's nothing to do with the different views on Brexit though!

Yes indeed. But not for the century after century it happened in the British Isles.
I'm not talking about the present monarchy. Like in other countries it has been reduced to being a figurehead.
As when I went to the Braemar games, they came in, waved, sit down, watch the games, heard on the then royal children and then left.
Even accidentally entered the Royal Castle grounds in Scotland. One gentleman came out, asked us to leave, which we promptly did.
My friend married a Scottish girl. I was her head usher at the ceremony. Apparently at that time quite an honor.
Funny part was her mother was totally into the royalty while her father was not. Called the Queen Queenie.
At the theaters we did not understand why at the end of the first movie we went to all the Scottish people got up and ran out of the theater the second the movie ended.
We quickly found out why. A picture of the Queen popped on the screen and everybody had to stand while they played the anthem.
No idea if that's still reality today, but that's what I personally experienced.
Lol - well I have never experienced that in the cinema - so how far back are you going ?
I have this mental image of everyone fleeing in haste so that they wouldn't have to stand X
I am not really a royalist, but do like Harry and William- but I wish the press would leave Megan alone.
Years ago we had a program over her called ' it's a knock out ' back in the 70's the royal family took part- it was the first time they had done anything like that ( it was the younger royals )
