You do realize that you live in the days of Noah, right? And you are siding with the lawless.
Another strawman's argument. You understand that Jesus went to the cross to die for the sins of all mankind [who believe in him by faith] don't you? without it, you would still be in your sin and awaiting pending judgement. This Police officer had done wrong and killed someone unnecessarily. He will never die for the sins of all mankind. He stands trial for his own sin. The outcome will be in accordance to the evidence already given before the courts.

Another fearless, disobedient, rebel gets wrath executed upon them by God’s lawmen:

Romans 13:1-4
[1] Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. [2] Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. [3] For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: [4] For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

And killing people isn't bringing them closer to Christ. Well it is, but not in Spirit but in judgment.

"Closer to Thee, oh Lord." LoL!! I know it's not funny and all, but I had to laugh out loud at that one a little. :p
I am questioning how any of this is edifying, like... bringing people closer to Christ.

Yes, well I almost never respond to this stuff. So said, the political threads over at CF are more a bloodbath than ever.

Suppose I was hoping for a peaceful discussion on the subject is all. Foolish me, Lol.

This is true. The media decides what to feed us so as to stir up racial tensions.

I think true to this point, maybe we should consider how much "airplay" we allow to be given to it at this site as well. :)

Oooooh...

Now there's some food for thought for the day. :)

especially groups like BLM, do not understand either the message or the tactics of MLK Jr.
They have a different agenda, with different tactics.

More, social destabilization in the pursuit of fascism and what? What do we call this fascist/Marxist travesty?

Much love!

And good morning to you!

:)

No she's not. She is taking a more balanced stand on the issue. I suggest you might want to consider doing so as well. Not every police shooting is justified, and some cops are entirely unfit for the job.

I won’t disagree with that; but, I will take a few bad cops over a city full of criminals any day of the week.

What is the common denominator to all these situations? Lawlessness in America, which is particularly blatant in the black community. America has descended into hell.

There are definitely problems with lawlessness, but it's not just in the black community. I watched a video where I white person was shot for being drunk in a casino because someone called the police and told them he had a gun. I think the point is that incidents happen with police because they have to approach with caution. And what is a shame is that BLM is exploiting this vulnerability in law enforcement procedures. George Floyd case was criminal conduct on the part of the police so they have a point there and the officer has been convicted of murder, which was more of a manslaughter in my opinion.

But the point is that God will deal with the lawless, and so they won't get away with it:

Deuteronomy 32:39

39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

Absolutely correct. Lawlessness, anarchy, black racism, rioting, destruction of private and public property, killing of innocents, and arson against innocent civilians is happening DAILY, and absolutely no one is stepping up and putting a stop to this. The only option now is a military coup (if any general or generals have the courage to do what is necessary).

And here we have a political thread poised to run completely amok, Lol.

Enoch, I don't think a military coup will amount to anything now either. Maybe in January when there was at least an atmosphere for it, and not now. The answer now is prayer, IMO.

You don't care about what happened to George Floyd yet you care about this?
The actual objective evidence against Chauvin was NIL. George Floyd was full of drugs (Fentanyl and Heroin) when he was arrested. Chauvin should have been declared "Not Guilty", but the whole trial was mishandled. The venue should have been changed, the jury should have been sequestered, and Maxine Waters should have been immediately arrested had she tried any shenanigans.

So this guilty verdict was political, not judicial, and not justice. Legal expert Alan Dershowitz has publicly said that this verdict will be reversed on appeal. It was a lynching of a white man through the court system. This does not excuse Chauvin's stupidity, but stupidity is not exactly a crime. The experts who testified made it clear that he was not actually responsible for the death of Floyd.

No, I believe it could still turn the tide. If Obama, Clinton, Biden, Harris, Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, Nadler, Waters, Soros, Gates, and Fauci are all arrested and prosecuted for their various crimes (which are numerous) by a military court, and a BRAND NEW ELECTION under strict military supervision goes forward, there could be a major reversal of all the evil that Biden has unleashed. All it would take is someone with the courage to step forward and do the job no one is doing.

BLM and Antifa would be branded domestic terrorists at the same time, and all of them would also be arrested and locked up. That would put a stop to the daily destruction of American cities. The rule of law would prevail, starting with martial law until Trump is returned to office (which he rightfully and lawfully won).

No matter how much I might love to see this happen, I have to say this is a pipe dream. This is a Democratic Republic. The very idea that a military coup could take place here is beyond me. Only if the vast, VAST majority of Americans were in favor of it, and as you know this nation divides almost completely down the middle 50/50 and has for decades now. It is impossible under the current political climate, and I don't see that getting better. I see it getting worse.

Again, my friend, I understand the desire, but the expectation is unrealistic to me. And if one carries about an unrealistic hope, he only frustrates himself daily with what he sees...

It is a noble dream to restore this nation just as it was when it was formed. But when the cause is lost, the plan needs to change, if for no other reason than for peace of mind. For me, the plan now is to raise up an army of believers who will show men their hope is in Christ, no matter what the government does or does not do.

You will likely disagree with me, but I am at peace with my world every day and walk in joy. My God will be victorious before all is said and done, and this is what I choose to put my mind to every day, instead of what the enemy has done to this country and will continue to do in the future.

This is true. The media decides what to feed us so as to stir up racial tensions. Both incidents are equally horrid and justice should be handed out.
This position is how they are trained.

Don't do the crime! Even WE have consequences for our sin as believers. God does not advocate sin like BLM and other supporters advocate it. Let's not support the sin of any race - how about that?

You really don't see it?

America has descended into hell.

One of the answers I give to bad things happening in this world is that often when people come into good times, they drift away from God. I hold the converse is also the case. The worse things get, the more people are likely to turn to God.

Civilization is based on the rule of law. The politics of the Left is to push us toward anarchy, which is lawlessness (as a prelude to assuming totalitarian power). God is a God of law and order. Therefore, this lawlessness should repel those to Christ. Amen.
