oddly, or perhaps not so oddly, we are all tainted with the sinner badge which ultimately means, none is righteous, no not one......therefore, any claim to being righteous by virtue of being a son/daughter of Adam is spurious.
The religious mindset is lost in the delusion of 'sinlessness' ....all the while whipping themselves and others for failure.....and there are lots of convoluted ways of bolstering that delusion.
Jesus, addressing the religious elite in his statement, 'I've not come to save the righteous but sinners' was intended as food for thought.

i own a Bible. If what you say, isnt in the Bible, since all scripture is worthy to teach by, then you get called out. And you catholics have a LOT to get called out on. Just ask martin luther.
