I live in the sticks, keep myself armed. Never know when a coyote, wild hog, poisonous snake might threaten or an idiot might show up and think their life is worth risking for a vehicle that does not belong to them. Some times people just need to be obliged and AND agree with that their life is ONLY the worth of a vehicle.

Police have a difficult JOB...being Trained to Kill Life and Trained to Save Life.

Police have no obligation to protect you! That is what the Courts have decided! Cops do not carry guns to protect you; they carry guns to protect themselves! Making a "Rule" that you cannot stop violators of the Law because you are not employed by the Government, especially if you are the victim... is a misplaced faith in paid Public Servants that have no obligation to do anything!

The Police in my State never had guns on them until the 1990's I think and that came in with a socialist government, but the main problem was because of the amount of people on drugs being total low life.
Not to mention it was the socialist who were backing up the drug taking low life mobs in my State.
It's the socialist who want to take away ones right to have a gun or to defend yourself with one in your own home.
In Australia we had a right wing party take away our right to outright own a gun, I had a semiautomatic for years, then I had to hand it in due to the Law.
I bought it to defend myself and home from law less thugs who like we seen wilfully destroying property and all, to hell with such people. they should know that if they want to take advantage of people like that they may end up with lead in them. so the message is don't go taking advantage of people or you may end up shot and the same with when one deals with the police, one has to understand that they are the Law and that you must obey them, if you try to attack them you could be shot. I have no sympathy for anyone attacking the police as anyone who does is a moron.

Police do have a duty to protect people as to the Law, they have many things like duty of care of the criminal as well when in custody in my State. The Police pistol is to only be used to kill in my state and that goes for the cops protection and all others.

The Port Arthur shootings in Tasmania was staged by the Federal Government only to take guns of the people. the shooter could of been shot easy many a time but the Police were instructed not to shoot him. so the idiot went about shooting totally free to do so. not to mention that the idiot could of done so with a bolt action rifle or maybe even a sharpened up butter knife.

All people should have the right to defend themselves against criminal actions.

Drug abuse is the main cause of most problems, if their was no drugs people would not be so stupid, many such people are criminally insane, they do not truly care for themselves or anyone or anything really. that's the drug culture ! it's all about what can they get.

Firstly, thank you for your service. I have had family members on the job, as well as a couple of close friends - and every time I think I've learned what they have to put up with - they show me something else that yet surprises me again.

My comment regarding 'police chose the job' is that I hear it used all the time as an excuse. "If they don't like the risks, they shouldn't do it - because they chose it". Personally - after the stories I've heard - I think it's an ignorant approach. The comment was to acknowledge that people say this - but it's a over simplistic viewpoint.

Sorry to hear about your mate. I have a serious dislike (hatred) for the media - or more likely spirit(s) behind the media with the lies, deception, and fuel they love to add to fire. I suspect that the devil has very strong talons deep into most media outlets these days.

I am not a cop, I was a tradesman. I encouraged my mate to go for it due to it being an easy life with much better money, in his first year he earned more money that he ever did as a tradesman and he was laughing at us, saying that the majority of cops have never ever had to work a day in their life and that they complain 24/7. sure he had a lot of paper work that is insane and learning curve, but he was 34yo when he joined and had life experience and did not go into it because he wanted to be a cop. he needed a job to support his family. he did not love cops before hand, he had broken many a cops arm ect in training with them in martial arts being the Sensei - instructor.
He is not impressed with the young cops at all.

Changes coming to Seattle's CHOP to allow traffic access

SEATTLE -- Some changes were coming to the CHOP area of Seattle Tuesday morning to allow some limited traffic movement and better access through the protest zone, city officials said Tuesday.

The changes come after a meeting Sunday between some Seattle city officials, Seattle Fire Department heads, protest organizers, and local residents and businesses to figure out ways to allow protesters to continue to deliver their message while reconfiguring the CHOP -- Capitol Hill Occupied Protest -- to allowing better emergency and local access to those inside the zone....

...The city was eager to reopen 12th Avenue to traffic, which is an arterial road. Under the new configuration, 12th Avenue will become a one-way street for eastbound traffic on the south side of Pine Street, allowing protesters to maintain a CHOP zone in the westbound lanes.

An alley access zone was also set up on the south side of Pine between 11th and 12th to allow for apartment building access, city officials said. All changes will also allow access or emergency vehicles including fire trucks.​

I am seeing my prayers answered! For a long time now I have been praying that God would remove deception from people who would be saved, and for those who refuse God's mercy and are hell bent on spreading wickedness that they would fall into their own traps, that their would be confusion and that they would turn on and fight each other, and that their wickedness and foolishness would be exposed for others who are deceived to see - so that those deceived would have a chance, a moment, in which they could observe this wickedness and foolishness, and choose truth or actively choose to lies.
That God would turn what the Devil and his followers (and victims) determine for wickedness, and turn it around to glorify Him.

I can only hope and pray that many leftists are seeing the conclusion to their ideologies and beginning to question their logic, and what they have been taught by the media, by their lecturers, etc.


This prayer wasn't for them in particular. It was more for the media and entertainment industry, those in government willing to do the devils bidding, those in education systems, United nations, and anyone else in positions of influence, but I'll accept this too!

Were the protesters in Tienanmen Square criminals who deserved to die?

Has anyone in Seattle committed a crime that deserives the death penalty? Should the police kill people without giving them a trial? You don't seem to get it. These protests started when a policeman killed a man over a phony twenty dollar bill. That's not a capital offense even if he had been convicted of it. Having the police use force unnecessarily is going to make things worse, not better. The more patient and law-abiding the police are, the more people will like and trust them.
