Dr. Jordan Peterson on the subject of Social Media....
I'm inclined to agree with him. Where I do like a lot of aspects of social media....the problems that have been created by it are literally earth shaking. And since it is not "All about Me"....I'm not sure if we weren't better off without it.

I benefit from some forms of social media, just as I benefit from some types of machinery.

I think the benefits of cell phones and maybe the internet outweight their negatives but I'd rather be without social media, or at least without it being as pervasive as it is now. There's too much hate in the world, not saying there wasn't before social media, but I wouldn't exactly call social media a beacon of love and decency either.

Well, as far as what he said in the video it's hard to disagree. Sticking strictly to social media, I think it's done a lot of harm. But as far as the information superhighway it a valuable tool to stay up on what's happening.
