In the New Testament, there were some who realized/accepted that Jesus is the Messiah (Savior)
but they still remained a sinner:

Cant agree here. The whole world IS forgiven.." for God so loved the world that he gave..." The cross was His victory...for all , they just don't know it, and if some do know it, they don't say 'thank you' and acknowledge it.

The cross was a sentence upon sin...it was legally done.
So , Legally the world is free... but, just like the slave owners , some have never been told, and some do not believe it, only some have said Thank You and are enjoying their God given freedom.

This post has mixed messages it looks like - since you state rightly "some do not believe it" and without faith it is impossible to please God.

And the cross ... "was legally done".... so those who trample the cross, who no longer have any sacrifice for their sins, remain forever lost, as written.

So, you do not accept the First three verses of John 1 along with verse 14. Apparently, neither do you believe Yahwh appeared to Abraham in the tent doorway.

Jesus is Immanual, God with us in the flesh, as a man, God was his physical father, but as the creator, He is the Wotd who became flesh and dwelt among us. Clearly, like the early Jews, you believe in the man, but you do not accept His deity to your loss.

What has the law to do with gentiles, it was never given to us, why are you so adamant on condemning people to death along with your self.

The point is that we are not lawless, are we? We must have some code of ethics in the way we conduct ourselves. Even unsaved sinners have their own code of ethics, to know what is right or wrong for them.

If you don't think that we are subject to any law, then do we support men raping children for fun? Is that right or wrong? You might say that it is the law of the land. But if it wasn't, would it still be wrong for you. If so, what "law" are you basing that on?

You might say that we as Christians are subject to the law of love, which Jesus said covered the whole Mosaic law, and He was right - wasn't He?

So, I can fornicate with a prostitute three times a week (if I can afford it), and say that I am loving her, and she is loving the money she is getting from me. Is that according to the law of love that Jesus is talking about. If not, then what is Jesus' law of love based on?

If we have a code of ethics that stops us from just walking up to a stranger in the street and punching him in the mouth, then aren't we subject to some kind of law?

So, if you as a Christian believer, not subject to the Law, shacks up with a same sex partner, or one of the opposite sex and has regular nookie with that person, saying we are doing it out of love, then you should be okay and be found not guilty on the day of judgment, right?

If repenting and forsaking the works of the flesh is part of being converted to Christ, then if we are not subject to some kind of law, then why do it, because we are going to be saved whether we stop doing those works, or just carry on with what we were doing before.

So what's it to be? Total lawlessness where anything goes, such as homosexuality, abortion, murder, theft, lying, blasphemy, adultery, child rape, pornography; or abiding by a code of ethics that God has put into our conscience? I don't see a middle ground anywhere.
