The war in Iran is now FINALLY over for a change, and the Strait of Hormuz is being reopened right now, so I guess that's good news.

Except it's not over. What is being touted as a "peace deal" is actually just a 60-day cease fire and an agreement to negotiate during that time. It's far from over.

You know Israel the parcel of land we call Israel, was carved out back in 1948ish by Britain and the US?
We like to think that God called his people back to that parcel of land, but that's not exactly what happened.

Trump's biggest problem is that Congress was NOT going to continue to support the status quo, let alone the deeper commitment (boots on ground) needed to overthrow the Iranian regime. Trump is trying to save face by pretending that this new understanding is a great deal and attacks Israel and anyone else that says otherwise. The reality is that Trump had his hands tied and had to end it.

My biggest criticism of Trump is that he repeatedly called for Iranian civilians to overthrow the regime. Trump led them to believe that the U.S. would imminently assist them in that endeavor. Purportedly, THOUSANDS of Iranians responded to Trump's call and were killed. Trump deceived them and led them to their slaughter.

Unfortunately western civilization lacks the will to eliminate the Iranian regime. The cancer remains and they will continue to inflict great harm in the world.
