It found that a third of households polled could not afford more than two pairs of shoes per person, per year. The data also revealed that 80% of Russian families found it difficult to make ends meet.


The survey actually indicates a slight improvement in some areas of family finances. But its stark headline figures - and Mr Peskov's annoyance - have captured attention, suggesting that officials are out of touch with everyday reality.


Asked to comment on the findings, President Vladimir Putin's spokesman sighed deeply before saying that the Kremlin “struggled” to understand the data.


“Why shoes? Why one third? Where are these figures from?” Mr Peskov asked, adding that he would be “grateful” for an explanation from Rosstat.


The details are clearly available online, alongside the agency's “observation of living standards” survey, conducted every two years. The latest figures are from a poll conducted in September 2018 which covers some 60,000 homes across the Russian Federation.


Amongst its findings, the survey reveals that close to half of all households cannot run to a week's annual holiday, even staying with friends or family. About 10% of those questioned could not afford to eat meat or fish three times a week, and 12.6% of homes either shared a communal toilet or had an outside loo.

Last night I broke several of these tyrannical new laws which I refuse to accept...

- I travelled more than 5kms from my home
- I was not at home after the 8pm curfew
- I went to a friends house
- I didn't observe social distancing

It was great to catch up with a few mates, watch the footy and have a few drinks...
Such social gatherings are essential to our well being and mental health so we have planned to do this at least once a week...

On the weekend i encountered a testing bay where they were pulling over drivers to test for covid.
When it came to me i refused to take the test. She called her boss over and before long there were several of them trying to convince me to take the test. They even went to the extreme of lying to me by trying to say that it is mandatory, but i held firm and they eventually had to let me pass...

As you saw or heard many people's lives have been effected by deaths caused by covid in the Ruby Princess Cruise, also in several aged care homes and other places, just yesterday a man in his 20s died to covid-19.

On another note

I believe our premier is just doing what he can to prevent the situation from getting really really bad, as you know there was a massive increase in covid-19 that really only took 1 and a half months in our state, so something had to be done.

I am an introvert so the current restrictions don't bother me that much, but just letting you know that moving house to a different state is still an excuse, but you must self-isolate for 14 days after moving house to another state.

And you can watch the footy at home, you don't have to watch it with you mates (you can still make fun of their teams on the phone ), you can also pray and read the Bible at home, you can pick up some new hobbies, maybe learn a musical instrument, maybe play some video games, maybe watch Mass online, watch movies, watch some shows you enjoy,
there are plenty of things you can do at home.

Its has been a few weeks since I have posted an update on the Covid-19 crises for the Australian situation. Sadly, the state of Victoria is still responsible for over 95% of the reported cases over the last couple of days.

The impact of the number of people being infected with the covid-19 virus has now turned the corner as can be seen in the chart which shows the moving 14 day total of reported daily Covid-19 cases. Because of the number of daily reported cases in the "second wave" the number of people dying from the virus is also much higher than during the first wave of the virus in Australia.



What this chart indicates is that it will take six to eight weeks of further restrictions to reduce the Moving 14 Day Totals down to the levels that were experienced after the First Wave of the virus of between 200t o 300 for the moving 14 day totals.



The second chart shows that the rate of change in the moving 14 day total has only gone negative in the last week and that this rate of change in the moving has to continue for a number of weeks before the rate of new infections drops down to acceptable levels with numbers under 20 reported cases with many around 10 reported cases per day and a few of 0 and 2 reported cases per day before they began going once more above the 20 per day of reported cases which quickly escalated upwards at a rate of 13 or more reported cases per day.

What does this analysis of the data show?

It shows that people will comply with directions to get the restrictions lifted but once the restrictions have been lifted they go will not act responsibly so that the transmission of the virus will remain low and eventually be overcome.

When the PM encouraged people to down load a phone apt to enable tracking the movement of people to make tracking of the virus easier, many people encouraged their friends to download the apt because the restrictions would be lifted once the number of downloads of the apt was reached. Once the restrictions were lifted, many of the people who had downloaded the apt then promptly deleted the apt from their phones so that they could not be easily tracked. The same is also true for compliance with the restrictions. People love to play a game of not letting the "Government" control what they can do. As long as they are not caught, they believe that they are winning the game and can do as they please.

The pandemic many believe is the fault of the government, but they will not accept any of the responsibility of enforcing the restrictions on themselves.

Will we have a third and a fourth wave of the pandemic? Sadly the answer is yes unless people begin to act responsibly, but pigs will have to fly first before they will do that.

Actually the best shop owners to talk to and really are the ones at Fordgate. Shops at the gate of Ford...
We know what happened to Ford, right, ok... Ask the shop owners about their business, ask about what happened to the thousands of people who lost their job there... U know what i mean this is where my friends and family live... High school, Broady station... Thats why nearly every i know is on the edge mentally, financially, phytologically at a level that no one understands...
So unless u can tell me which store owner u spoke to and what u spoke about your criticism is mute to me...

Actually i would encouge everyone who is well off and demanding these lock downs to go to the poorest neighbourhood in their town and have a genuine face to face conversation with a small store owner. The perespective is needed i think really badly... The poor are the first to go, yall care about us to right...
