Jesus showed in Matt. 7 that doing good works does not equate to salvation. He did not tell that crowd;" I knew you once, but do not know you now". He was saying they were never saved! Yes we are living in the end of the church age, which many call teh Age of Laodecia because the external form of the church has grown cold and apostate.

But once one places their trust in th death and physical resurrection of Jesus as the only satisfactory sacrifice and offering for sin, all their sins are judiciously removed (past, present, future.) God makes us His children and gives a new heart, mind and destiny. then is a person equipped to do the good works God has foreordained we walk in.
Yet, even among that group of those who "trust in th death and physical resurrection of Jesus", there are the unfaithful and unwise servants, to whom Jesus said, He "will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites."

Do you understand what He means by "cut him in two?"

Remember, those turned away at the gate are those who were doing good things, seemingly doing everything right. Or so they thought.
Those doing the "good things"...were doing good things and then expected salvation for doing those good things...never understanding good things are performed to glorify Jesus...not get you into heaven.

You have shown where, by speaking against what is spiritual in general. Do you not understand that if you speak against man, man, man, or the flesh, flesh, flesh, or the world, world, world, that you are speaking against the whole of it? Likewise, if you continually speak against what is spiritual, you speak and blaspheme against God who's spirit is the Holy Spirit.
That is quite a convenient definition you have invented. Apparently all someone has to do is label his teaching “spiritual,” and suddenly anyone who questions it is guilty of blaspheming the Holy Spirit. That would certainly make your interpretation easy to protect from examination.

The problem is that the Bible never says that.

Jesus explained the accusation in Mark 3:30: “Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.” That is what was happening when He warned about blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. You have replaced Christ’s actual context with your own rule that criticizing something you call “spiritual” means criticizing God Himself.

By that reasoning, the Bereans should have been condemned for examining Paul’s teaching. Instead, Scripture calls them noble because they “searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so” (Acts 17:11). John says, “believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God” (1 John 4:1). Apparently John forgot to warn us that testing your claims might be blasphemy.

You made the accusation. You bear the burden of proving it.

So enough with “spiritual, spiritual, spiritual.” Show me the Scripture that says questioning your interpretation is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

You cannot, because it is not there. Repent before it is too late.

Fail.

Your general defense is anti Spirit, and every time I remind you of it you make it personal. Fail again.

The fact is God is spirit, and so is every word from the Word, and so are the words of everyone He sends. Even if you don't believe it.

You are a false teacher, and all the noise in the world will not turn your private interpretation into Scripture.

A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit

This is a very easy way to remind ourselves of what is true and what isn’t. I am always struck by it’s simplicity, yet it’s so useful. Inspected upon more closely, it also explains to us the reason why God wraths on us when we sin, despite Him being completely good Himself. It is exactly the reason for Him delivering wrath. When you are completely ‘good’, you immediately and without hesitation reject the sinful and send correction. That is the fruit that grows on a good tree. There is no room for 99 percent good in heaven, but Christ does allow it, because the Son redeems us with love and adds the 1 percent if we repent with love.

Why do you say "only?"

"God is spirit" and "perfect" lacking nothing, and Jesus is God.

But does that mean Jesus can't manifest in the flesh at any time? Not at all, He can do anything, He's God. But why would Jesus come again under the cover of "skin" that God gave Adam and Eve to cover the nakedness of their sin? Has He not already done so, and "it is finished?"

Whoever believes such a thing, does not know Him as He is.

Because Jesus has to be a man to re-conquer earth as the earth was made for men to have stewardship over.
Currently the earth is ran by Satan through his proxies.

You got the wrong earth.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 14:3

The earth I meant is the same earth you are currently living on. What earth did you mean?

Do you not know that there is this earth we are living on, and also a new earth promised?

Do you not know that just as man was created in the image of God, but lower as the earth is lower than the heavens--all of which is lower and a mere image of what is promised but now unseen?

Would God make manifest a world as a revelation and preview of what shall be, with a snow globe model rather than an accurate model of the omnipresence of God and the Kingdom of God? Would His best be a tabletop model of earth while space represents infinity? Are we merely to be allowed out unto the outer courts, and run the risk of falling off the edge? Is the new earth only to be a aquarium where we live like pets? Will words then be written "You may play among all the courts, but in the day you play near the edge, you will surely die?" Is that Oneness with God as Christ has prayed and promised? Are you so foolish?

I think you lost your point.

Lets back up...is Jesus a spirit or is Jesus also man?

You are projecting.

It is you who have lost sight of the promise of God compared with this fallen world which is passing away...or you never had sight of it in the first place. Which is it? What is your identity, mere flesh and blood forever, or spirit? Is one of those dead? Read your Bible.

Oh dear, this sentence is not supported by the scriptures.

In Rev 21, John tells us that the "form of the heavens and the earth at the time of the final judgement, will dimmish and then they will be refreshed, to be refurbished like new again, as God had originally intended them to be, by removing the corruption that had been allowed to flourish since the time of Adam, up and until this time.

ScottA, you have blindly accepted the flawed contextual understanding of the translators and have missed being aboard the right boat.

Goodbye Scottie

If you have what you think is a better translation, let's hear it.

But no, what you are saying is not biblical, nor do the words translate as you say. And you too, how is it that you do not know that all creation groans, and this earth of the same elements as yourself, will also die that it too should be born again?

God be with ye as well!
