Who did he appoint to administer the kingdom and govern the church in his absence until his return?

“…[Paul] sent… and called the elders of the church. And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons…” (Acts 20:17-18)
“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” (Acts 20:28)
Elders appointed by the Apostles oversee the church. These elders must qualify to oversee the church according to 1 Timothy 3:1-7

It’s only local leaders unified that run the churches.
But I perceive that you will go extra-biblical on me and exalt Peter based on one ambiguous passage…

Joseph was the adopted father of Jesus but YHWH God wasn't just a father to Jesus faith. The Only Begotten Son of God existed in heaven with his Father who is God before he became human. God's angelic messenger had informed the virgin girl Mary that she would ‘conceive in her womb’ as the result of God’s holy spirit coming upon her and His power overshadowing her. (Luke 1:30, 31, 34, 35) So the child eventually born retained identity as the same person who had resided in heaven as the Word. The Word is the Only Begotten Son of God that became flesh/human.(John1:14) So YHWH God wasn't just a Father of Jesus faith. YHWH was the Father and God of Jesus when he was in heaven with God before he became human. YHWH God brought his Only Begotten Son into existence before he became human. In fact the Only Begotten Son of God was in existence long before the physical universe was brought into existence. So to say that YHWH God was only a Father to Jesus faith is inaccurate.
Son of Man was sent to Earth.
Son of Man began His Ministry.
Son of Man was called Jesus, Word, Truth, Life, Lord, Rabbi, Teacher
* God revealed His Son.
Son of God established His Father, His Word, His Power, THE ROCK, of His Church.
* God revealed His Power, Wisdom, Seed, Quickening Spirit IS CHRIST.
Son of Man Left Earth, returned to Heaven and Shall Return to Earth, WITH His reputation...Power of God.
No man is “administering” Christ Jesus’ Kingdom. His Kingdom is ESTABLISHED.....BUT NOT yet MANIFESTED on EARTH.
Any Converted man WHO:
Knows Gods Word,
Preaches Gods Word,
Loyal to Christ,
Ready to Preach,
Humble,
Not Hinder the Gospel by his behavior.

What is "the universal church"? It's not the Catholic denomination, that's for sure.
BTW, most of us live on earth, not in earth.
You know it was here once, where did it go?
If it's not my church point me where to go.
Otherwise there is one game in town. To look up and and claim it's not your Church how can that be, I look around there's only one game in town
Christ's Church is alone but the bible just a book with out an authentic teacher. The teacher alone .yeah that works. The bible alone is like a family picture album. No one can tell the stories behind the pictures like the family in the pictures.

Already acting in the person of Christ even acting as intermediary!
It is Jesus Christ who identifies peter with himself!

It is Jesus Christ who identifies peter with himself! Matt 17:27
Jesus Christ gives the keys of the kingdom to peter matt 16:18-19 making him prime minister applying Isa 22:21-22 to peter

Why is the name of peter even mentioned?
Why does Christ change Peter’s name, God changing a persons name like Abram to Abraham or Jacob to Israel always signifies a mission or ministry!
Why does Christ give him the keys of jurisdictional authority that the prime minister holds under the king to administer the kingdom? Isa 22:21-22
How do you govern the church and administer the kingdom with a confession?

1) How do you govern the church and administer the kingdom with a confession?
2) How do you give jurisdictional authority to a confession? (Keys of the kingdom)
3) How do you give a confession the power to bind and loose?
4) why did Christ give the keys to Peter (and only to Peter) keys of jurisdictional authority. Isa 22:21-22 why even bother to mention Peter if he is not involved?
Explain Jn 20:21 Peter and the apostles and their successors have the same mission, ministry, power, and authority as Christ! “As the father sent me, so I send you”!
Matt 28:19 christ communicates his authority to peter and the apostles to teach all nations, baptize all disciples!

Whom did Jesus call "Satan"? Peter
Who denied knowing Jesus three times when He was arrested? Peter
Whom did Paul call out for his hypocrisy in Galatia? Peter
Whom did Jesus chastise for his violence? Peter
John 18:10-11"Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, pulled it out and struck the high priest’s slave, cutting off his right ear. (Now the slave’s name was Malchus.) But Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword back into its sheath! Am I not to drink the cup that the Father has given me?”
This last example clearly shows Jesus' anger at Peter's arrogance!
Peter was just one of the apostles, and a deeply flawed person. Why are you always compelled to twist Scripture?
