April 8, 2007ABCALMATY, Kazakhstan) - Nearly 250 dead seals have washed up on the shores of the Caspian Sea in Kazakhstan in the past week, emergency officials said Saturday.Photo: Caspian seals (AFP)Authorities were conducting tests to determined what killed the 247 seals found by oil workers inspecting the shore in western Mangistau region, the Emergencies Agency said.Environmentalists have been concerned about increasing exploration of the Caspian Sea's extensive oil reserves.Last year, 350 seals and thousands of sturgeon died in a northern part of the Caspian region as a result of a heavy metal leak from the Kashagan oil field.Also, several epidemics of a viral disease have killed thousands of Caspian seals since the late 1990s. http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=...orld&id=5191074

I mentioned a couple months ago on another thread that my suspition was that some of this stuff was electromatic disturbances in our atmosphere caused by the Sun remember this got much worse after our X-class solar flares we are going in to Solar Maximum period possibly the worst we have ever seen depending on who you believe. I also believe it is the cause of global warming as Mars is also warming and we humans didn't to it. It also cause's more earthquakes and volcano eruption's it excites the earth core. So I thought the following article quite interestingBEE'sAccording to a message from Paul Doyon, electromagnetic waves may wellhave the capacity of disorienting not only bees but a number of flyingcreatures. Here is a specific instance involving bees he quotes:At Cornell Univ. honeybees in a hive relocated into a new buildingbecame disoriented. After extensive research ruled out other causes,someone noticed the hive was next to the building's electrictransformer. The bees were confused by 60 hz magnetism strong enough tointerfere with homing and communication to gather nectar and pollen.(http://www.ratical.org/ratville/RofD4.html)In Germany, a study of honeybees irradiated with DECT mobile phone basestation radiation found that only few of the irradiated bees returned tothe hive, and that they required more time to return than the nonirradiated bees. Also, the weight of the honeycombs of the irradiatedbees was found to be smaller than those in the hives of non irradiatedbees. (Stever H, Kuhn J, Otten C, Wunder B, Harst W. Excerpt from article:RIGHT, AND WHAT HAPPENS IF ALL THE HONEY BEES DISAPPEAR?First of all, a third of the food supply in the United States – and actually the world – a third of the food supply is directly related to the honey bee: fruits, vegetables, nuts, just a lot of stuff that we eat, that we’re accustomed to have every day, the honey bee is directly responsible for it. And then, there is probably another 30% of what we consume that honey bees are indirectly responsible for. Take the milk we drink. The cows have to have hay. They’ve got to eat clover and alfalfa to produce milk. And if you go back and listen to what (Albert) Einstein told us – he said if the honey bees disappeared off the face of the Earth, within four years, all life would be gone. Even the wildlife depends on plants pollinated by the honey bees for berries and so on. So, it’s not just humans not being able to get apples and carrots. We’re talking about a real big, serious problem!I could not help but notice this article refers to 1/3 of the food supply such a biblical term, uhmmm

this is an interesting bird story from New Mexico:Just got off the phone with a friend in town who drives a school bus. She has a long run that takes her down almost to the Mexican border- about 25 miles away. Thursday afternooon south of town she saw a flock of birds just sitting in the middle of the highway, they seemed disoriented or unable to move. She slowed down to see what might be wrong, afraid they would fly up and into the windshield as a lot of drivers she knows had been observing strange bird behavior. As she slowed, 2 birds just fell out of the sky dead! One bounced off the front of the bus, the other fell to the ground a couple of feet away! She phoned in to the county to tell them what she had observed and wanted them to come out and collect the birds for testing. They said they would check it out. By this time the flock had moved off the road and she took the kids home. She was pretty shaken up by this event. She told me that birds had been acting strangely for awhile- some other bus drivers had reported birds flying into the windshield. There has been West Nile virus reported in the county in the past so that might be it, but she felt it was something stranger than that even. I found 2 dead birds Thursday morning as well, but I thought they had been killed by the violent winds in a storm the night before. This whole thing gives me a bad feeling!

Scientists find clue in mystery of the vanishing beesupdated 6:04 p.m. EDT, Thu September 6, 2007CNN) -- A virus found in healthy Australian honey bees may be playing a role in the collapse of honey bee colonies across the United States, researchers reported Thursday.Colony collapse disorder has killed millions of bees -- up to 90 percent of colonies in some U.S. beekeeping operations -- imperiling the crops largely dependent upon bees for pollination, such as oranges, blueberries, apples and almonds.The U.S. Department of Agriculture says honey bees are responsible for pollinating $15 billion worth of crops each year in the United States. More than 90 fruits and vegetables worldwide depend on them for pollination.Signs of colony collapse disorder were first reported in the United States in 2004, the same year American beekeepers started importing bees from Australia.The disorder is marked by hives left with a queen, a few newly hatched adults and plenty of food, but the worker bees responsible for pollination gone.The virus identified in the healthy Australian bees is Israeli Acute Paralysis Virus (IAPV) -- named that because it was discovered by Hebrew University researchers. Although worker bees in colony collapse disorder vanish, bees infected with IAPV die close to the hive, after developing shivering wings and paralysis. For some reason, the Australian bees seem to be resistant to IAPV and do not come down with symptoms.Scientists used genetic analyses of bees collected over the past three years and found that IAPV was present in bees that had come from colony collapse disorder hives 96 percent of the time.But the study released Thursday on the Science Express Web site, operated by the journal Science, cautioned that collapse disorder is likely caused by several factors."This research give us a very good lead to follow, but we do not believe IAPV is acting alone," said Jeffery S. Pettis of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Bee Research Laboratory and a co-author of the study. "Other stressors on the colony are likely involved."This could explain why bees in Australia may be resistant to colony collapse."There are no cases ... in Australia at all," entomologist Dave Britton of the Australian Museum told the Sydney Morning Herald last month. "It is a Northern Hemisphere phenomenon."

"Christina, post: 6667, member: 9"]Machado contacted county Animal Services, the county’s farm advisor, the Public Health Department and even the state’s West Nile Virus hotline. All gave her a collective shrug. A representative from Animal Services said dead pigeons are “not on our radar,” and they deal more with domestic animals and cattle. Public Health Officer Dean Kelaita was aware of Machado’s issue, but said it didn’t warrant action from his department, which usually handles West Nile cases. “There aren’t very many diseases that will affect both birds and potentially humans,” he said."In this case, there wasn’t a lot of evidence that made us concerned over a potential to hurt humans as well.”

QUOTE="Christina, post: 6677, member: 9"]February 27, 2007Honeybees Vanish, Leaving Keepers in Peril By ALEXEI BARRIONUEVOVISALIA, Calif., Feb. 23 — David Bradshaw has endured countless stings during his life as a beekeeper, but he got the shock of his career when he opened his boxes last month and found half of his 100 million bees missing.In 24 states throughout the country, beekeepers have gone through similar shocks as their bees have been disappearing inexplicably at an alarming rate, threatening not only their livelihoods but also the production of numerous crops, including California almonds, one of the nation’s most profitable. “I have never seen anything like it,” Mr. Bradshaw, 50, said from an almond orchard here beginning to bloom. “Box after box after box are just empty. There’s nobody home.”The sudden mysterious losses are highlighting

=========================================TODAY......

Today,

Do designed diseases migrate from humans to animals to humans, and human to human ?
Are various diseases being repeated because of pollution (massive, billions of tons, if not trillions) ,
and mis-management of resources ?

On purpose? For profit? For power? For sheer greed without concern for life nor truth ?
