I dont need to know you I can only respond to your posts. And they are very easy to read and see through. You ran away from our first conversation becuase you were in to deep. It took theologians to sort it all out.

But I have a feeling you don't like theologians.
So I guess you'll have to dig through the N.T. yourself and get the different meaning of the two words.

Just remember, there are TWO words so it must be that they mean two different ideas.

Justification is IMMEDIATE. Done by God ONLY.
Sanctification is ongoing. Done by God and US.

It might take you some time to complete this study.

Are you quite sure it me who needs to study it. You said by your own admission that you dont know it. Even after you tried to teach on it. Now you are saying I need to study them. You clearly still dont get sanctified. And your still trying to teach?

What about the thief on the cross? Apparently he repented of his sins and confessed that Jesus was Lord, otherwise he wouldn't have promised him a place in 'paradise'. This was promised despite the fact that this same thief condemned Jesus along with the other thief on the cross, priests and elders.

(Matthew 27:42-44) "He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. {43} He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God. {44} The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth."

What "sanctification" did he go through if this is supposed to be an ongoing process? How long is this process supposed to take?
