Has anybody seen this series before? I heard there's going to be a new season starting next year. :D (I don't want to post the trailer for season three that I just discovered on YouTube as spoilers for people who haven't seen the series yet. :) )

Yes, I've watched it. I binge-watched the first two seasons on Netflix in about three days. I discovered it at the end of August, a couple of days after it was released on Netflix. It's a good show but I think it would be much better without all the cussing. I like the storyline of the show but I don't like the constant cussing. I'm a Gen Xer and I loved The Karate Kid when I was growing up in the 80's. So, I really like the continuation of the films in the series. I especially love the 80's nostalgia in the series. The nostalgia brings back some happy memories from my childhood.

Okay,.. I'm not going to lie this got to me. You can tell that there was real emotion here. RIP Mr. Miyagi. :'( (I don't think there are too much spoilers here as we already know that he's passed away because the actor passed away.)

Yes, that was a sad scene. There was also another sad scene with Daniel talking to a man he thought was Mr. Miyagi fishing on the beach.

To Daniel Miyagi was more than a friend, teacher, and mentor,.. he was sort of like a grandfather figure to him. :(

Has anybody watched any of the new season yet? I'm currently getting caught up with all the older episodes so I can refresh my memory before watching the new series. :D
