Mark 9:
38 “Teacher,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us.”

39 “Do not stop him,” Jesus said. “For no one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, 40 for whoever is not against us is for us. 41 Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward.
Jesus Forbids Sectarianism
38 Now John answered Him, saying, “Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us.”

39 But Jesus said, “Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me. 40 Forhe who is not against us is onour side. 41 For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.

Was just thinking that. We’re all professing an element of truth in our beliefs. Yet still divisive...The Lord is probably smiling to Himself over this forum (I hope)

Not at all. People don't understand that Paul is speaking about a spiritual kingdom walk. And this is a walk that almost nobody understands these days. So the message is being entirely lost.

People divide by the flesh and the lies of the flesh. This is grieving to God and His Spirit.

Nah, not over this,He smile when we finally get it, all this "reasoning", helps no man. But people love to leave Jesus out of there "reasoning", human reasoning which is all what study is.

Coming into the LIGHT..... is to go from wrong believing to right believing.

Is to go from walking in the flesh to walking in the Spirit.
Is to go from a failed Christian discipleship of "confessing and repenting", to , entering into perfection described by Paul as : "the fullness of the stature of Christ.".
Now, all believers, all the born again, are being transformed INTO the Image of Christ, and that final transformation is God created and the end result occurs when you get your new body.
However, "the fullness of the stature of Christ, is where we the born again are supposed to become and exits WITHIN.= while we are on the earth. And until you do, you are not completed in your spiritual understanding regarding your relationship to God or your eternal position or state, as we are found ..IN God..."In Christ.

To become fully developed, spiritually, is not to become a better behaving Christian, but its to become a fully faith realized Christian.
Your NT says that you can only please God by FAITH. And most of you think that you please God or not, by your behavior.
So, understand this first....your lifestyle that is somewhat better then it was when you loved sin, is still not that good, and is nothing as compared to Jesus's lifestyle.
If you are a born person who has gotten rid of most of your bad habits, and for the most part live a clean life, your life as compared to the sinless Son of God, on your best day, is still a filthy dirty rag. So, never believe that your "good life", or your trying to be good is anything like the HOLY Life that Jesus lived regarding SINLESSNESS.
So, the way you truly please God, is by getting your FAITH and Belief System and Theology PERFECT, as this is your FAITH, and until you have this perfected you are not pleasing God as you should.

Why are most Christians, a sinning confessing mess?
its really just one reason...
Most do not understand that God has removed all your sin from you, including those you commit today.... Iin other words, they are all under the Blood, they are all already forgiven, before you do them, and most of you dont realize this, have not been taught this, and will find this hard to BELIEVE because you want to take credit for what God has done for you. And that is why you believe that when you confess and repent, you are achieving by this baby Christian behavior what the blood of Jesus has already resolved 2000 yrs ago for you, on the Cross.
And until you understand this and believe it, you will not be able to exist in the peace of God or rest totally in the Grace of God and thereby find your VICTORY over sin, thru the Power of Christ's redemption.

So, why are most of you not able to live a holy life free of repenting and confessing?
Its because you have believed the Devil's lie, and this lie has become your faith, and that has ruined your walk with God, while you don't realize this..
So, what is the Devil's lie that you believe that is become your faith, that is the reason most of you can't live holy all the time?
Its this..
"Your sins from the time you first sinned until the day you were saved, are all forgiven, but not any sin after that. In other words, you were lied to and have believed that The blood of Jesus does not pay for, cover, pardon, and redeem you from, ALL the sin you committed after you were saved, and that includes those you might do today and next week.

You have never asked yourself ..."WHY did God save me when HE KNEW i would sin later, after He saved me".
So why did He?
Because God knows that His Blood that He Shed on THE CROSS, will take care of all your sin, included those you did the week after you were saved, and the ones you committed this week, and next.
So, you have to come into the right Believing that God has already resolved your sin issue on The Cross 2000 Yrs ago, or you will never be free from sinning and confessing and condemnation.

You have been deceived into thinking that its ONLY the sin that you committed up to the day the Cross came into your Life, that God has resolved, and all sin after that day is on YOU to resolve by confessing and repenting.
= The DEVIL's LIE.
That is what you believe and that is your faith, and that is why you have no power to stop sinning.
How do you escape that deception?
You have to learn how to believe RIGHT about the Blood Atonement.
You have to stop the wrong believing that the Cross only solved your sins of the past and does not resolve all your sins, forever.
If you can change your wrong faith into THAT Believing, you will find the Grace of God that will allow you to rest from striving to live right and actually empower you to be able to do it.

Look at this verse....

Romans 8:1 """There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."""
This verse gives you a choice, Saint.
Listen carefully....
1. Walk in the flesh and you will sin, and be condemned.
2. There is NO CONDEMNATiON if you walk in the Spirit.
Notice that this is not talking about sinning or not.
Its explaining to you, that your walk of FAITH.....the way you BELIEVE, is what keeps you condemned, (sinning and repenting) or delivers you from it = "Walking in the Spirit".
So, if you believe wrong about the blood Atonement....If you believe it is limited and not eternal then you are in the flesh and you will try to resolve your sin by will and self effort and you will fail and you will sin more and you will not understand why you can't stop.
OR,-
You can "walk in the Spirit", (what im Teaching you) and this will resolve your "Flesh" issue and your sinning and confesson habit, and you will have NO CONDEMNATiON.
So, you are one or the other.. its all up to you and how you BELIEVE.
If You are a sinning and confessing fail, its because you believe wrong, or.. you are the "there is no condemnation" believer who is believing RIGHT and walking in the Spirit.

To walk in the Spirit, is to have the right MIND. The right MIND is the "mind of Christ"... and to have THAT, is to believe right about the Eternal effect of Blood Of Jesus.
As long as you keep believing that only your sin that you committed prior to the day of your salvation is covered by the Blood and not all of your sin, always and forever, you will continue to live deceived regarding real Faith, and will keep failing to Live Holy, and of course the condemnation and the confessing and repenting will continue that prove you are believing wrong.

You have to master the understanding of 2 verses, asap.

1.) Hebrews 13: 9

And this never verse....... but let me show you something first...
Jesus didnt come to die on The Cross to make bad people good.
He came to make dead people ALIVE.
"Your were dead in tresspasses and sin"... .and now you are BORN AGAIN = with the Life of Christ as your "new Creation" "IN CHRIT< = which is YOU and Christ and God, "as ONE", Spirit.

Now, Believe this verse, Saint.. Don't just read it..... BELIEVE IT.

= Colossians 2:13...""and you, (the born again) being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath God quickened together with Him, having forgiven you ALL trespasses""
Notice ..... = "God having forgiven you ALL YOUR TRESPASSES".
That is ALL YOUR SIN.
How much is ALL ?
How.....much......is .......ALL ?????
Its all of them.....every one..........all forgiven. = ALL SIN forgiven.
Yesterdays, todays, tomrrows, ..= ALL.
God's ALL, is not "some", as many of you wrongly believe.

So, until you believe this, = "ALL" Sin FORGIVEN... you will try to take care of them yourself (Walking in the FLESH) = by confessing and repenting, and that will keep you doing it and never will you come to the fullness of FAITH and understanding that will FREE YOU from living a failed Christian Discipleship.
Wrong believing is skipping the Acts doctrine and experience and believing as the saved saints did in the Epistles.

Right believing is obeying Acts 2:38, then affirming your faith per the Epistles to the saints.

Acts 2:38 is what John the Baptist was preaching to Israel before Jesus was on the Cross.

You are not "baptized in God's, Jesus's, or any other name", to be born again.
So, dont teach that, as that is a false Gospel.
Water baptism always follows Salvation, as a public confession, and never does it impart or cause salvation.
The Gospel is what Paul refers to as "my Gospel", which is "justification by Faith", where God offers the blood Atonement to anyone who will by Faith, hear the Gospel, believe on Christ, and be "saved".
To be SAVED< is a very specific work of God that is given as a Gift..."the gift of Salvation", "the Gift of Righteousness".
So, Peter, in Acts 2, didn't have yet the revelation of the Gospel of the Grace of God.
He didnt have it till after Acts 10.
By then Paul was in the process of establishing the body of Christ into the Doctrine of "Justification by Faith".

Evidently Jesus didn't teach him well enough.

Im going to show you this, because you need a good teacher to show you this..
After i do, you remember i did, and you can teach it to your pope, minister, bishop, or whatever flavor leader it is that have never shown you this before.
And after i do....don't come and post that you "already knew it", as that is one of your favorite little carnal games to play.

Now open your NT to Acts 10.
Read were God showed Peter in a vision= that GENTILES could be saved.
"rise Peter and EAT".
Do you understand what God was showing Peter in this verse?
He was teaching a stubborn JEW that GENTILES could also be SAVED. = The GRACE of God.
And why, because PETER didnt know this yet in Acts 10, and this is at least 10 yrs AFTER Jesus Ascended back into heaven.
So, a decade after Jesus is back in Glory, Peter has no idea that Gentiles can be SAvED or that GOD will have them in His family, so, God has to show him what PAUL was always teaching and preaching.

Now, i think you are smart enough to realize that if Peter didnt know that God's Grace extended to Gentiles, then Peter didnt have a CLUE about Grace, YET. = 10 yrs or more after Jesus was back into Heaven.

So what am i teaching you besides the fact that it was at least a decade after "Acts 2" Pentecost, before Peter was given Paul's revelation of the Grace of God, im also showing you something more important, justbyfaith.

1. You are not a deep student of the NT, but you do love to post colorful text. (congratulations) (its not impressive).
2. MOST IMPORTANT....When you've now been taught = that Peter didnt know the Gospel of the Grace of God for many years after Jesus ascended, is......this TEACHES you that not all the Apostles had the revelation that Paul had, when Paul had it.
This means that sometimes when they are teaching about sin or law or similar in the NT, they can be teaching this BEFORE they have been given by PAUL or God the revelation of the Grace of God = "justification by faith". And this is why it can be sometimes be a slight contradiction between how some of them talk about "faith", vs how Paul teaches it as "justification BY Faith".

What is the moral of this story? = You can't teach what you don't know, or yet understand. Just ask PETER in Acts 10 to preach that Gentiles can be saved, and he will agree, but until then, he would not have.. Not in ACTS 2 - 9....WHILE Paul was always teaching the Grace of God as we understand "justification by faith".
Now, tell your minister all about this, if his favorite apostle is Peter, IF NOT, tell him anyway as he or she needs to KNOW.
Explain to them that Peter had no idea of the Gospel of Grace, years after Jesus was back in Heaven, WHILE Pail was always teaching it.

I'm certain that Peter knew what the Lord Jesus had taught him about grace during his time with him on earth; and that he taught what needed to be taught about grace to Jewish converts.

That Peter had to be dealt with concerning allowing Gentiles into the fold does not mean that Jesus hadn't taught him about grace; and that he needed to learn it from Paul.

Peter understood the doctrines about grace even as Jesus had taught it to him; and he applied it to Jewish converts.

In Acts 10, it became evident that grace would be extended to the Gentile as well as the Jew; which is not to say that grace was not the teaching of Jesus Christ when He walked the earth.

It is written,

(John 1:14), And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

And (John 1:17), For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
