If people in the United States do not wake up and wake up fast, the United States will be transformed into a Godless, borderless, socialist/marxist/communist, disarmed, Sodom and Gomorrah America!

That does not address the issue I was making about the forum ….think about the way things are addressed and the way people talk to one another and then ask yourself if that is following Christian values. So if Christians can’t act in the way they should, why would we expect the world to be any different. We should lead by example in how we deal with and communicate through difficult and challenging times…….Romans is a great book to reflect on, putting it into practice is not so simple….. the apostles / disciples and Jesus were all living with an oppressive government.
What about the core values and fruits of the Spirit ……..are they demonstrated within the forum, within the lives of all those who shout at others and continuously condemn them for making different choices.
Patience, humility, peace, ect ect

It’s just something I have been reflected on, I don’t post that much these days because all you get is condemnation, accusations, belittling, sarcasm, self righteousness and talking in a condescending way……
Don’t really think this is a good Christian environment …….and I dread to think how many stumbling blocks some of the posts have caused to young Christians and those who tend to read rather than post……all in the name of ‘ look at me I am so more aware than you ‘ attitude……..I admit that I have fallen into that as well at times, it’s not what I want to do or encourage anymore.

Yes, I agree about the world but we are not accountable for what the world does or others, we are accountable for what we personally do and say, and that applies to how we interact with one another.

I still put it down to the fact that it is totally unnatural to communicate on a forum...
Most of our communication is done through body language, facial expression, tone of voice and many other little cues, and that is missing from here...
I bet we would all get along fine if we were face to face

Yes, I agree …….I did a recent course for work about communication and only 7% is verbal.
It would be kind of interesting if we were all face to face …. I guess the nearest we could come to that is to have a zoom meeting and even that would create issues because of all our differing time zones. Would be interesting to hear the different accents though !!
Right I am off outside to do some gardening as it is so beautiful here, for sept it is so warm still. Have a good day, or afternoon / evening Cristo ( not sure but I think you are ahead of me in time by quite a few hours )

Maybe not its name but certainly its values are out the window along with the rest of the west
You have muslims grooming school kids... Need i say more... LGBT crap... More... Covid lockdowns... Britain isn't the free nation it once was
I thought rita was talking about the heavenly kingdom of Christ . Cause that Kingdom cannot be destroyed , nor tained , nor any evil
enter within it . Let the glorious Lord be praised my friend . We have a Kingdom above which cannot be shaken .
These earthen kingdoms are swollen full of evil , but our Kingdom in Christ is pure and holy .
Let all that has breath praise and rejoice in the Lord .

Amen...and His Word!

"For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven." Psalm 119:89

"Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away." Mark 31:31
Cling to the LORD and hope in HIM . His kingdom shall always stand forever . Where the temple is the lamb and God .
This ol earth and her kingdoms are plumb full of evil and grow only worse . And when the shaking begins
they shall not be able to stand . BUT WE HAVE A KINGDOM which cannot be moved , eternal in the heavens .
Let the glorious Lord be praised . Some men hope in govts , lambs hope in Christ alone . And this is why
no matter how rough things get , our peace in Christ shall only abound . For if this earthen tabernacle be removed
WE HAVE ONE IN THE HEAVENS . Wherein we desire to be clothed upon from above . That mortality will be swallowed up by LIFE .
OH death where is thy sting , o grave where is your victory . The grave could not contain Christ , and it wont contain his lambs .
When we meet ours , IT ONLY MEANS WE ARE WITH THE LORD . Sing to the KING my friend . JUST SING TO THE LORD .

I'm guilty of sarcasm... and sometimes I speak to others in a condescending manner... I have nil patience for arrogance.

Addy, sarcasm is ok at times when done in banter conversations , it’s when it is condescending tinged with arrogance , or when sarcasm is used to have a dig at something or someone . I am not sure you fit in that group !

I have been here over a year... and I am a bit bolder now then when I first arrived... I struggle with this place on a daily basis and sometimes my tolerance level is close to nil. I have developed somewhat of a flippant attitude... I pick and choose who I want to associate myself with... and sadly... that is not a great many... So... I do feel I am very sarcastic... and sometimes at the cost of someone I am not particularly fond of.

I am learning to stay away from my pet peeve topics.... OSAS... Catholicism... those are the thorns in my side... I have no patience for those who seem to DELIGHT in removing the free gift of Salvation given to me by GOD. I have wasted weeks and weeks trying to convince people that I don't condone sin of any kind... to no avail... I am still labelled an abuser of GRACE because I believe my salvation is secure.

Way too many legalists on this site in my opinion. Anyways... my confession for the day.

Yeah, I'd get rid of all the wrong-thinkers...but that would make me just like them! Man! I guess that's why there is the ignore button.

2Pe 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
2Pe 1:6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
2Pe 1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
2Pe 1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Pe 1:9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

I don't know why humans (some) enjoy confrontation.
I never been one to want to participate in them.
Whether face to face or otherwise.

Most of the posts I write are generic in nature, unless someone is speaking to me directly, I speak to everyone equally.
Very rarely do I take things people say personally, again, unless it's directed at me.

Body language, facial expressions, eye contact are really important in some cases. You don't always know if the person is serious or being sarcastic, or if they're just playing with you.
I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. That they are not so much attacking me as they are trying to make a point.
Sometimes I read a post a few times, before I reply, trying to understand the tone of the post.
Sometimes it's down right rude and condenscending.

Attack the post not the poster... but sometimes they are both in the same.
I've been working on not letting my emotions rule my responses.
Just because someone is being nasty doesn't mean I have to be a partaker of that.

This forum is a good forum. It's not toxic like some I been in.
I believe most people here try their best to be civil even in heated debates.
I think the longer your here, the more you get to know eachother, you learn people's characters.
But if your just passing by or occasionally drop in, you only really see the surface of what's being written.

It's funny, because I feel I know most of you more than I know my own dad.
He drops by on ocassion, stays a couple days, I may not see him for months, even though I talk to him every night on the phone.
He is so unpredictable. I always feel like ... not really sure where a conversation may lead.
He likes to be confrontational. I don't.

Everyone here has a unique character. And I find it most enjoyable getting to know those characters.
Most I know by the avatar. And some are very well chosen. The messages match the image in some ways.

If I'm about to say something I may regret later, I look at that avatar and think.. I know you. I don't want to say something that might hurt you.
I don't know how many posts I've written and erased and rewritten, just to get the words right so they don't offend.
It's not that easy.
Because it's not always what you write but how it is received. And we don't have control over how others take what we write.

All I can suggest is, try to get to know the other person. Listen with the heart. Be pleasant to the best of your ability.
Giving all diligence...

diligence:
2Pe 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

Diligence:
spoudázō, spoo-dad'-zo; from G4710; to use speed, i.e. to make effort, be prompt or earnest:—do (give) diligence, be diligent (forward), endeavour, labour, study.

make an effort.. to be the best that you can be.
I like that word..diligence
:)
God Bless this family
HUGS

One of the things I have observed over the years that I have been here is the reality that it is only if you don’t agree with a certain stand or view that you perhaps notice the digs , condescending and arrogant attitudes within posts. @Ziggy, at this present time you are in agreement with most of those who dish this out , so you probably are not impacted by the words and attitudes. At the moment it’s linked to vaccines and the conspiracies……Indirectly i have been labelled, blind, lacking in common sense, stupid, unchristian, not walking with the Lord….. when I come on to the forum there is an air of condemnation ( not conviction ) with many threads, so for me and others it can be a toxic environment. It is presumed that I don’t pray, stand up for things, seek the Lord, ect , all because I got the vaccine………the digs can be very subtle , not personal but generally said to anyone who is not in agreement, but it is still heard.

I guess I feel a burden about it because I care about those who are impacted in a negative way ……because I know how it impacts me on a personal level. I have been a Christian for over 35 years so it doesn’t rock my faith, but I constantly feel judged and that is not a nice thing to feel xx

Now I'm way off topic...but what else is new, eh? Lol
True. Getting back to the topic, I have just learned that a co-worker of my wife's niece had been saying all along that she would refuse to be vaccinated. However, under threat of losing her job, she took the jab, and now has developed blood clots. But none of the clinics she has contacted want to deal with this. And she is afraid of going to the hospitals, since they are a part of the criminal conspiracy.

Blood clots are a very serious issue from taking these bogus vaccines, but there has never been FULL DISCLOSURE about all the hazards (including death). All the articles below can be found at truthunmuted.org.

More Aussies Have Died from AstraZeneca-related Clots than COVID

More Fatal Blood Clots Tied to AstraZeneca Vaccine in Germany

New Research Points to Link Between AstraZeneca Vaccine and Blood Clots

Denmark Halts AstraZeneca COVID Vaccine Over Blood Clots

Man Who Received Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Dies After Rare Blood Clot Disorder

Teen Receives Three Brain Surgeries Related to Blood Clots after Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 Vaccine

And no one can be (or will be) held accountable for all the damage and devastation.
