Tell us again why it is that you don't acknowledge that Luke 21:20-24 is a parallel passage to Matthew 24:15-22 and Mark 13:14-20? It doesn't matter if people agree on what exactly the AOD was. We can see what it related to in the Luke 21 passage, but you won't acknowledge that Luke 21:20-24 is a parallel passage to Matthew 24:15-22 and Mark 13:14-20. That causes you to conclude that Matthew and Mark inexplicably decided to not include Jesus's answer to the disciples first question about when the temple buildings would be destroyed. I think that's a far bigger problem than people not all agreeing on what the AOD was exactly in 70 AD. The same people who agree that it related in some way to Jerusalem being surrounded by (Roman) armies. If there was an AOD involving the 2nd temple 2000 years ago, what then was the AOD? Assuming there was one, well it should no longer be a mystery 2000 years later as to what it was. Except not all interpreters that insist an AOD involved the 2nd temple 2000 years ago can even agree with each other as to what the AOD was. Why should it be a multiple choice question if it has already been fulfilled?
If this AOD indeed happened 2000 years ago, every single interpreter that insists it did would be in full agreement with each other and that there would only be one choice to choose from, not multiple choices.
But if an AOD involving the 2nd temple never actually happened 2000 years ago to begin with, no wonder interpreters that insist it did happen can't all agree with each other as to what it was. That's typically what happens when an alleged fulfilled prophecy is false to begin with. The prophecy itself is not false. The claim that it has already been fulfilled is what is false. Otherwise, every single interpreter that insists it was already fulfilled would all agree 100% with each other as to what it was and what it looked like at the time.
LOL! You blind yourself to make it so that you can't even discern plain and simple scripture. Your ridiculous hyper-spiritualized approach to interpreting scripture makes it so that you can't even discern that the disciples asked Jesus to look at the physical temple buildings and stones they were marveling at, after which Jesus showed that He was not impressed and said they would be destroyed with no stone left upon another, which is what happened in 70 AD. Very simple. There you go. Having the same blindness like the Jews thinking Christ was talking about the physical stones of the city and the temple. Even to this day! Sad. :-)
Exactly. Selah! He may know that if he answers the question regarding when God warned The Jews of the coming destruction with NT scripture, it will totally destroy his argument. Selah
So, do you think that all of the Christians in Judea stuck around to be killed or taken captive instead of fleeing as Jesus warned?Your reply is nothing more than speculation wrapped in sarcasm.
Show me the Scripture that says the Judaean Christians, while being filled with the Holy Spirit in the holy temple of the heart, fled because they still believed the physical temple remained God's holy dwelling. You can't, because the Bible never says that. You're reading your doctrine into the text instead of drawing your doctrine from it.sd
The New Testament repeatedly teaches that believers are God's temple (1 Corinthians 3:16-17; 6:19; Ephesians 2:19-22; 1 Peter 2:5). Christ also declared that the old temple would be left desolate (Matthew 23:38), and He identified His own body as the true temple (John 2:19-21). The entire direction of the New Covenant is away from a physical sanctuary and toward Christ and His people.
So your claim about what the Judaean Christians supposedly believed is not biblical evidence—it's conjecture. You have no verse that says they regarded the temple as still holy or that this was their reason for fleeing.
You got the wrong Judea to begin with, so look at who is being crucified, upside down, becasue you got it backward!![]()
What part of Daniel 9:24 do you think is not yet fulfilled? You are not even remotely being logical here. Per your reasoning you are missing an entire 3.5 years. If Christ died in the midst of the week, He obviously rose in the midst of the week as well. Plus, Pentecost would also be close to the midst of the week. Pentecost certainly didn't happen 3.5 years after Christ rose. Nor did Christ rise 3.5 years after He died. Once again, you have an entire half of a week not being accounted for. The midst of the 70th week does not equal 70 completed weeks. It equals 69.5 completed weeks. Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression----not 69.5 weeks instead. 70 weeks = 490 years. 69.5 weeks = 486.5 years. The latter alone does not fulfill all of Daniel 9:24, the former does. But I'm not saying 486.5 years did not fulfill any of verse 24. It clearly did. It just didn't fulfill everything since 70 weeks have to be fulfilled in order for all of verse 24 to be in the past.
Therefore, the remainder of the 70th week is recorded in the NT involving the 42 month reign of the beast, obviously.
If one is fulfilled, then they all are. All in 70 weeks. What part of Daniel 9:24 do you think is not yet fulfilled?
Right. A 70 week (490 year) time period was determined/designated for all six things to be fulfilled and Jesus fulfilled them all, as only He could. It's sad to see some people think that the Jews themselves can accomplish those things in the future, which would mean those Jews wouldn't need Jesus. It's complete nonsense. When Jesus said "It is finished" just before He took His final breath on the cross, that means what He came to do was finished, and that includes all of the six things listed in Daniel 9:24.If one is fulfilled, then they all are. All in 70 weeks.

AgreeMessiah the Prince = Jesus Christ.
I Disagree, Messiah will be cut off in the "Future" when the building the wall and street to Messiah stops, as armies surround Jerusalem in fulfilling the future 3.5 year times of the gentiles and Jerusalem being trodden under footMessiah being cut off = Jesus Christ being crucified.

I Disagree, Messiah will be cut off in the "Future"

Daniel 9:24-27, Seventy Literal "Future" Weeks Explained?Jesus was cut off, shed his blood and rose from the dead and in doing so atoned for sin, and established everlasting righteous in him etc. etc.
How can he possibly be cut off in the future?
Jesus Christ Returns In Fire And Final Judgement, Dissolving This Existing Earth By Fire, Immediately After The Tribulationthe Son of Man will return to establish His everlasting kingdom. There will be no further need for anyone—whether the Messiah or His people—to be "cut off." The work of redemption will have reached its complete and final fulfillment.

Mark 13:1 Then as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!" 2 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”
You have to be completely blind to not see that Jesus was talking about the physical temple buildings being destroyed when He asked "Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”.

Show us again where scripture ever refers to a spiritual Judea.
