If your interpretation of Daniel 9 does not take into account the entirety of Scripture, it is not correct. It must address Ezra 6:14
[Ezr 6:14 LSB] 14 And the elders of the Jews were building and succeeding through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. So they built and completed [it]
according to the decree of the God of Israel and the decree of Cyrus, Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
And it must address the 7 other facts that no one wants to even look at which invalidates every interpretation - except for the one correct one. Just these 8 facts alone destroys every single interpretation presented in this thread.
8 Points of the Ezra 6:14 Challenge
You said: "If your interpretation of Daniel 9 does not take into account the entirety of Scripture, it is not correct."
YES and Nope
Did the WORD become flesh and dwell among us, then gave Himself to be "
cut-off" on the Cross for Iniquity/Transgression/Sin = YES
Did God make the Declaration that this would occur thru the Prophet Daniel (ch9) = YES
Must we need to know the
exact timing of these God Ordained Events? = Nope
Now
i am in agreement with you on the 'precise/exact' meaning of Scripture and yet the Emphasis is on CHRIST = Collossians 2:16
"So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ."
With regards to Daniel ch9 the REAL ISSUE of exactness is what Week Messiah was "cut-off" = 69th or 70th
That decision changes how we accept/conclude Matthew ch24
