#1. What do you mean the son wasn't there? John 1:2 "He was with God in the very beginning." Who do you think "He" is?If any of these Scriptural Truths offend you …
you just simply have NOT been taught the Truth about these things!
Under each Scriptural Truth is one or more proofs from the NT.
1 ● The original Trinity was God the Father, God the Word, and God the Holy Spirit
God the Son was not there! This should be obvious from John 1:1
2 ● Jesus, the Son of God, was NOT in heaven prior to the Incarnation
Jesus, the Son of God, had NOT been born yet (see point 3)
3 ● Jesus was called “the Son of God” because God “created Him”
God the Holy Spirit “created” Jesus in Mary’s womb … Matthew 1:18-21, Luke 1:35
God the Word became flesh/human/Jesus … John 1:14
4 ● God sees all of us as being evil, born with an inherited sin nature
Our basic nature is evil … even though most of us surely are not 100% evil.
Jesus said to His 12 disciples, “If you then, being evil …” (Matthew 7:11)
He also said to the Pharisees that they were evil (Matthew 12:34)
And He said the whole generation of people was evil (Matthew 12:39)
Paul often talked about “this evil world” in his letters to the churches.
“… the old sinful nature within us is against God …” (Romans 8:7)
Also see Romans 3:9-18, 5:12, 8:7.
Important: All of this is why God does NOT owe anyone in the human race anything!
5 ● Humans are UNABLE to believe in Jesus and the Gospel without God’s help
Many reasons are given for this in the NT, with the 2 major ones being:
--- man is born with an inherited sin nature which is against God … see point 4 above.
--- man is hindered by Satan and his demons … e.g. Eph. 6:12, 2 Tim. 2:26, 1 Pet. 5:8
Jesus said it is impossible to believe without God … Luke 18:25-27
Jesus said man is unable to believe without God’s help … John 6:44, John 6:65
God gives people to Jesus … John 6:37, 6:39
God has to draw people to Jesus … John 6:44
God has to grant permission to come to Jesus … John 6:65
God gives faith to believe … Acts 3:16 (LB), Acts 16:14, 2 Peter 1:1 (NLT), Jude 3 (NLT)
6 ● The baptism with the Holy Spirit is a different experience than being born-again
When born-again -- the Holy Spirit comes INSIDE …
John 14:16-23, Romans 8:11, 1 Cor. 3:16, Gal. 4:6, 2 Tim. 1:14, 1 John 3:24 and 4:12-16
(This is done by the Holy Spirit, baptizing people into the church … 1 Corinthians 12:13).
When baptized with the Holy Spirit -- the Holy Spirit comes UPON …
Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4-8, Acts 2:1-4, Acts 8:14-19, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 11:15-17, Acts 19:6
(This is done by Jesus Himself … Matthew 3:11, Mark 1:8, Luke 3:16, John 1:33).
▪ The evidence (proof) of receiving this baptism is speaking at least a few words in tongues.
▪ In the 7 NT verses above, all of the following are linked to the baptism with the Holy Spirit …
the promise, the gift, laying on of hands, upon, filled, prophecy, (spiritual) power,
tongues, boldness, healing, miracles.
▪ IMO, Smith Wigglesworth was the greatest healing evangelist since the NT apostles.
He said, “If you don’t have the baptism with the Holy Spirit, you are living in a weak and
impoverished condition.” >>>> Note the persistent widow (Luke 18), and Matthew 7:7-8.
7 ● To be “filled with the Holy Spirit” refers to the baptism with the Holy Spirit
▪ Perhaps the best proof is … John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit while
in his mother’ womb (Luke 1:15), so obviously it has nothing to do with being born again!
▪ When John’s parents were filled with the Holy Spirit, they prophesied (Luke 1:41-45, 1:67).
▪ On the day of Pentecost, “they were all filled with the Holy Spirit
and began to speak with other tongues …” (Acts 2:4).
▪ After Ananias laid his hands on Paul, he was filled with the Holy Spirit and
immediately he could see again -- after being blind for 3 days (Acts 9:17-18).
8 ● If we take the mark of the beast, we will go to hell – guaranteed!
When the Antichrist comes into power … we will experience great pressure
to receive the mark of the beast (on our right hand or on our forehead),
and we will be expected to worship the image of the beast! If we do either of
these things, we will be tormented with fire and burning sulphur forever and ever!
See Revelation 13:15-17, 14:9-11, 20:4. This mark will be necessary to live as before
(buying and selling, etc.) … so we need to be well prepared with food, water, etc.
True andJesus Christ was born after being conceived which was announced by the angel appearing to Mary, who was told that what was to be conceived, that would be born to her, was to be called the Son of God, as shown in the gospel account of Luke. In the one of John, it is made clear that the incarnation of the Word with God who is God (Logos) came and was one dwelling among our kind. Logos, the Word with God who is God, is eternal, with God. The incarnation was from God and fully in unity with God starting from Mary's pregnancy and his birth. More important than this is listening to what he has been saying, and doing accordingly.
@amigo de christoTrue and
True . For many often can quoate certain truths
and yet they are as i once was , lips can flap but the heart sure was far from him .
YES we sure do need to ALSO big time be heeding His lovely words of Truth .
Yes indeed in the beginning was the Word
and the Word was with GOD
and the word Was God .
but even many who can say this truth
are as i once was .
I too could once quoate also the gosple verbatum .
Even did so to an athiest while i was in the marine corps .
Me, a so called christain , and my friend also a so called christain
were both trying to tell this atheist of his dire need to beleive ON JESUS the CHRIST .
Now as TRUE as that was
Man i was a devil loving up on my sin
as was my buddy . Even the athiest saw right through us
seeing he knew our life styles . No fruit , means NO ROOT . and if our fruit
is as the fruit of the wicked which is TO SIN , as mine once was
MAN we aint fooling GOD or anyone BUT OUR OWN SELVES . too many now follow another jesus
another image of what they think is God .
But friend its love it hollers non stop AINT OF GOD . Its rather made the road to GOD
very sin accepting and even UNBELIEF accepting as it gathers all religoins under its so called love .
Things are not looking good at all in this generation . The end hour approaches
and though they did all for what they believed would usher in upon them world peace n safety
IT will be SUDDEN destruction FROM The very CHRIST thier love denied .

What!?To go on sinning is to not have repentance showing, that repentance is essential to living faith, that without it could at most be dead faith, which is of little difference from no faith. Repentance involves coming to hear what Christ said, and this does not dismiss what God has said, and then doing as we were told, as the Lord is the Lord.
2 ● Jesus, the Son of God, was NOT in heaven prior to the Incarnation
5 ● Humans are UNABLE to believe in Jesus and the Gospel without God’s help
the first statement is definitely a heretical conclusion (YHWH was created). God the Father is not the Creator, Jesus (YHWH) is. GJohn 1.3, All things were created by him/the Word, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created. This is a irrational statement. Which means Jesus can't create himself because he would have to exist prior to his existence..
Re: Jesus was called “the Son of God” because God “created Him”
Born-again Christians are described as God's handiwork. (2Cor 5:17, Gal 6:15,
Eph 2:10, Eph 4:24, Col 3:9-10)
Whereas Jesus is described as God's offspring. (John 1:14, John 1:18,
John 3:16, John 3:18, 1John 4:9)
So then, Jesus is God's paternal son whereas born-again Christians are God's
adopted sons. (Rom 8:15, Gal 4:5, Eph 1:5)
