Shapening our sWord of the Spirit which is the Word of God that we are to know and have READY in our heart that comes immediately out of our mouth or on the forum to feed our eyes and ears which is how the SEED of God or His Word gets in us.
When we practice on each other as in TRAINING we whip out our sWord to learn how to counter attack so that when the devil comes to us as JUST a ROARING(no bite if we kill him first with our sWord in our mouth) we will have the power THROUGH the Word that protrudes from our mouth to resist him by speaking what God said concerning us and we STAND on His Word to defeat our enemy who can ONLY those who allow him to devour them, because they have NO SPIRITUAL SWORD to fight with.
We do not do anything other than speak the Word for the situation, then God is obliged to carry it out on your behalf in the spiritual realm.
Such as are you being tempted to steal in your thoughts as the devil is whispering to you how good it would be to COVET that thing for yourself?
The devil knows that if you fall for this temptation, you WILL SUFFER LOSS eventually. But.. if you whip out your sWord by saying for him to hear It is written: Thou shalt not steal! Or It is written: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God and serve HIM ONLY. After about the 3rd temptation that you stand firm on God's Word... the devil will Flee for he see's that you are EQUIPPED AND KNOW YOUR WORD!
Live a life of victory over sin so that God can give you a life of blessing as you are keeping far from sin that causes death.
We are not under the law that just looks at the Word..... we are under the law of the Spirit, in training on HOW TO OVERCOME so that we are ABEL/able to walk in the Word so no one needs to exalt a law over us for we already discern good from evil as a child of God who does not fall for temptation. We are not like the devils offspring like Cain who CAN but won't raise his standards to be accetped by God.
Gen 4:6-7
6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
