Because the book of Revelation tells us that her plagues will come in "one" prophetic day, which is 1 literal year of 360 days. The prophecy says that death and famine and plague will all come upon her in the same year.

No, time is expressed prophetically in the book of Revelation, just as time is expressed prophetically in the book of Daniel.

70 prophetic weeks = 490 prophetic days = 490 literal years
42 prophetic months = prophetic time, times, and 1/2 time = 3 and 1/2 prophetic years = 1,260 prophetic days = 1,260 literal years
prophetic 1/2 hour = 7 and 1/2 literal years
prophetic 1 hour = 15 literal days
