While it is true we are to bear fruit.................[Rom 6:22 KJV] 22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.A point that stood out to me from Sunday's sermon this week.
- Are you being pruned?
- What good fruit are you producing?
- Why are you being pruned?
- What does being pruned look like from a practical view?
- What gets pruned (cut away) and what is left?
John 15:1-2 NIV
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit,
while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a]
so that it will be even more fruitful.

John 15 is not directed to us, but rather, Jesus was speaking to his disciples
[Jhn 15:7 KJV] 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Above is the rest of what Jesus said about abiding in him
This verse does not apply to us in the church, the body of Christ......we are not promised to have done whatever we ask
