We saw some of it…but not in ‘real time ‘ with you all.
I’m so glad that the weather was kind and the sun shone down on our Queen .
her coronation was the first time I’d see anything on TV …My mum allowed me to go to a neighbours to see it , as we didn’t have a TV .

It didn’t take much to make us happy in those days ! :)

The last time I drank tea, I drank it from my fishing mug, is that a crime? 
Our Coronation gift was a blue glass tumbler with a picture of the queen on it. I kept it for years but it eventually got lost.
And we were all taken to the cinema to watch the Coronation in colour on the big screen. I have the DVD of it called 'A Queen is Crowned'.

It's the truth, she even knighted Elton John, and she has said she accepts homosexuality, didn't you know this?
Judge not . . . And she doesn't. But obviously you do.
Just for judgmental people - of which there are more than a few on this forum - Queen Elizabeth does not make the decisions which affect the country's laws or the church's. She is nominal head of state and nominal head of the church of England.
Also for our overseas friends who don't understand how our monarchy works.
