And Paul told Timothy that ALL scripture is good for doctrine and instruction in righteousness.
You do realize that you just told Jesus that He wasted His time preaching from the OT to the disciples on the road to Emmaus.

Timothy was a follower of Paul. Did you notice that?
And yes, all scripture has context and consequence.
But not all scripture is Doctrine.
For example.... the Scripture says that Judas hung himself.
So, is that doctrine?
Not quite, so dont give that one a try.

God will only see you as the righteousness of God in Christ, if you are born again.

What you are talking about is the motive or the mindset of a person.
That has nothing to do with being "in Christ".

At the Judgement seat of Christ, we'll be tested for motive and intent, but the reason we are allowed there, is because God always sees us as "in Christ".
To be THERE, in that situation, is to have the same righteousness as God or a person will not be found there.
Thats the requirement to exist as "One with God".

Of course, some are not born again, who think that they are. The test is found in 1 John 3:9.

For example.... the Scripture says that Judas hung himself.
So, is that doctrine?

It is profitable for doctrine (2 Timothy 3:16).

For example, an excellent joke about playing Bible roulette can be made using the verse in question.

A man said to God, I am so depressed, what should I do. He opened his Bible and pointed to the first scripture that his finger landed on. "Judas hung himself."

Not liking that, he did it a second time. "Go and do likewise."

That amounts to a teaching (doctrine) that it is not a good idea to play Bible roulette.

his desire to sin indicates to all that he is not born again; and the scriptures in question (Romans 6:14, Romans 7:4, Galatians 2:19, Romans 7:6) only apply to the born again.

WHat you wrote is nonsense.
Its not even connected to Christian Reality.
Listen... you have told us that YOU sin, and confess.
So, if that is true, .. and here you are posting this nonsense about...."if you want to sin, then you must not be born again.."""
Yet, you sin, and confess.
So, what does that make you?
Right.

And what if "Born Again" is a bad marketing strategy from a bad translation that Wycliffe perpetrated? And the whole concept of what John 3 is based upon is not Nicodemus coming at night because he was afraid of anyone seeing him but waited until just after sunset (to not interfere with Jesus' ministry) but to be a friend and fan inside the Sanhedrin of what Jesus was doing and saying? Then you are on a completely wrong theology and thinking.Maybe that note of "born from Above" in your Bible means that you haven't done a proper hermeneutic to begin with. (It doesn't mean the same thing)And it's all just another case of blind leading the blind.

Could you post something that actually makes sense?
Im sitting here reading what you wrote, and its such a confused maze of disconnected jargon, with no point and no context.
Can you be more clear next time, so that the reader can at least try to follow, whatever it is you are trying to prove?

thx

Right.

A person can sin without actually wanting to (see Romans 7:14-25)

You've stated that you sin and confess. You've stated this on my Threads.
So, according to you, you have personally failed the 1 John 3:9 test that you say proves ............

I don't deny that I have failed this test in times past. It does not make the test any less valid.
