All good until here... You have inferred here that the "old covenant" is the ten commandments. You won't find that in scripture.Except every quote is correctly in context and on the money.
The scriptures, call the ten commands THE COVENANT on two tables of stone, and the ark of the covenant contained the two tables of the covenant written in stone.
Deu 9:11 And it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights, thatthe LORD gave me the two tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant.
Thus scripture, clearly says the Decalogue is the covenant - and scripture clearly states the old covenant
The first covenant was made in Eden between God and Adam when God ironized a Savior. Surely you wouldn't suggest this was faulty?Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
Agree. How does this help your argument that the law and the prophets are done away with?Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang ALL THE LAW and the prophets.
The ministration... Not the Commandments themselves... There is a vast difference.2Co 3:7 But if the ministration OF DEATH
Sorry to have to inform you of this, but the penalty if sin is still death. The reason the Ten commands kills, brings death, and condemnation, is due to the fact that the penalty under the law for breaking any of the Ten, was being put to death by stoning.
BTW sabbath keepers ignore the required penalty under the law of Moses for those breaking the sabbath day command, which is tp put them to death.
If the command is still in effect, the penalty is still in effect.

KJV Exodus 20:1-2
1 And God spake all these words, saying,
2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3. I am about to put you into even greater bondage by giving you My law.

No. Here is an excellent post that explains why you, and many others, are mistaken regarding what the old covenant actually is.Ive learned it already, TYVM.
It was written to a church putting themselves under the law of Moses. The old covenant is GONE the Decalogue is called THE COVENANT ON TABLES OF STONE- therefore the ten ended, replaced by the superior two love commands.
And right here is your principle mistake. You believe God gave them His Commandments in order that they should earn righteousness? After all that He taught Abraham, 'and his faith was accounted to him for righteousness', and all that the prophets taught, 'the just shall live by faith', you still, despite all the evidence to the contrary, believe God is so cruel and miserable that he would give Israel an impossible task. Look again at the Ten Commandments. They are not impossible requirements. God did not burden Israel, or us, with impossibilities. From Egyptian bondage to the bondage of trying to earn righteousness
The Law was written to the Church putting themselves under the Law of Moses and not under the Law of Christ. Spot the ball and win your soul.It was written to a church putting themselves under the law of Moses.
So please prove how the ten commandments were faulty.Except I already proved there, that the ten commands are called THE COVENANT ON TWO TABLES OF STONE.
What was written and engraven on two tables of stone?
What was kept in the ARK OF THE COVENANT?
Hint: the ten commands engraven on tables of stone aka THE TABLES OF THE COVENANT
1Ki 8:9 There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
Heb 9:4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
It’s irrefutable that the ten commands are called the covenant.
Exo 34:28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
Deu 9:11 And it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights, that the LORD gave me the two tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant.
Now, are you going to deny the undeniable, again, with these facts?

Let's see just how serious I can be.Get serious
Yet, strangely enough, God evidently pulled a fast one on us by placing a disposable command to keep His day holy right in the middle of His eternal moral code for human beings. The first obvious difference is there are no days commanded to be kept in the two love commands.
Where is this rigid, yet imaginary distinction made in the Bible? Where does the Apostle Paul make it? And aren't the Psalms and proverbs inspired? Where are they represented in the term "law and prophets?" Christ recognizes every word that proceeds from His Father's mouth as law. The word law is not so distinctively used in the Bible as many "scholars" portray. The first five Books of Moses are the books of the law, not the rest of the Old Testament.
And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know. (1 Corinthians 8:2)Ive learned it already, TYVM.
The tables of the covenant are indeed the ten commandments. They are God's promise of what he will do in the hearts of men if they draw nigh unto Him. The old covenant is the words of the children of Israel claiming to be able to keep the commandments without a heart connection to Him.Except I already proved there, that the ten commands are called THE COVENANT ON TWO TABLES OF STONE.

The Bible was written for the common man so, erm, Baloney! Harmony? Give me a break. More like Babylonian confusion. We read in Acts 13:42, 44
42) And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.
44) And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
Please note that the Jews gathered together on the seventh day of the week [Saturday] and also note the term "next" in Strong's Concordance means "between" therefore, in this case, "next/between sabbaths" would mean the day after Saturday will have to mean Sunday the first day of the week.
Now the most significant and profound Scripture reference concerning the change from Saturday Sabbath to Sunday Sabbath worship [which BTW, can't be seen in the English translation] is Matthew 28:1 that reads:
"In the end of the sabbath as it began to dawn towards the first day of the week came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher."
Please note that the printer is warning the English reader that words in italicize in the KJV Bible, are not in the original manuscripts. Also note that the word "week" is the plural Hebrew word "sabaton" that can be proven.
Hence, Matthew 28:1 can be rendered thus:
"In the end of the sabbaths as it began to dawn towards the first of the sabbaths came Mary..."
Now Matthew 28:1 seems to be in harmony and that God teaches us that He changed the Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to the First Day Sabbath which to us is Sunday.

O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! (Deuteronomy 5:29)
The reference to old and new covenants is so abused today as to be nearly meaningless. This is probably why the Bible refers to the "everlasting covenant."
As far apart Scriptures as the east from the west. Bad, inferior, exegesis with wicked intention for diabolic purpose which "INSTANTLY MUST BE RESISTED" (Bunyan) and persistently REJECTED.“Sabbaths, new moons, and set feasts” answer to “days, months, times.” 1Chronicles 23:31
