Christ has come, the Redeemer has come out of Sion.If you had been let go, been set free, Christ would have had come already.
Christ has come, the Redeemer has come out of Sion.
I have been set free from the power of sin and of false doctrine. I now let all such go by without so much as a glance.
False teachings are become water off the duck's back, that believes what is written only, and rightly divides the Word of truth, between what is of God and what is of man.
Sabbathug commandos are clearly not sent from God to falsely accuse the brethren. Endlessly.
Sabbatistas: roving rebel separatists in the body of Christ.
I don't go by feeling, but by faith. What you call a feeling is the conviction of the Holy Spirit against rejecting the truth.rdp is false. I can't do anything about it. Only this I MUST say, that the above is said everything against the Lord of the Sabbath. According to rdp Jesus is each of the blasphemies he shouts in his post. Each of them being against Scripture is against the Spirit of God breathing Holy Scripture. God will take care of that; it is none of my business or concern, although I, strangely, feel sorry for the man. I don't understand why, maybe I'm supposed to. God forgive me my cold heartedness. I will pray for him, God forgive him, he cannot know what he is doing, I think.
Against the great commandments, there is no law.
The real question is why you conflate "warning" with "resentment." Sabbath-keepers generally feel an obligation to WARN those who dismiss the 4th commandment while acknowledging the other 9. It's really not rocket science. The notion that God pulled a fast one on us by inserting a temporary, disposable, and ritualistic requirement into His eternal moral code for humanity is, frankly, absurd. You may call this resentment if you think that'll get you off the hook with God. I highly doubt it will do the trick. The real question is why Sabbath-keepers resent it so much,
"Others," meaning you, I suppose. It's not possible that you have formed a gospel in the shape of your own mind, is it?The danger becomes a gospel that we have formed in shape in our own mind without any correction from others
@GerhardEbersoehn
I prepared quite a lengthy response to your 2 posts, but as I was finishing up, I thought to myself:
"What's the point? It's not going to bear any good fruit. It'll probably just end up inviting more sinful derision to either myself or my brethren."
God bless you, GE.
And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. (Isaiah 32:17)

Childish thinking is when children read into others what they themselves are doing.
I get corrected everytime someone preaches or teaches me anything from Scripture that corrects me, whether in thought or deed.
On this site alone I have been corrected for the better in things of doctrine, as well as God has reproved me in several ways, so that I change.
Since you do not hear the gospel being preached, that's probably why you still think and act childishly. And churlishly.
You also hate Scriptural correction, because you like thinking things about God and His Word from your own mind, and so I have found you avoiding Scriptures that don't comply with you.

He struck Ananias and Sapphira dead for not making good on a contribution to the Gospel. This is an object lesson, of course, but rarely applied today and, as with most Bible truths of WARNING, it is usually spiritualized away somehow when brought up in contemporary times. Jesus Christ is a vengeful God, as well as a gentle Saviour, according to Scripture (Hebrews 10:30). Evangelicals cannot fathom or stomach this, except to wave an eternally burning hell in front of the uninitiated as an incentive to turn from their lives of rebellion.
I could deny all of this, but the Truth will out, regardless of my rhetoric.
If I refuse to keep a Sabbath in obedience to a carnal commandment, will I be found clothed and washed in the blood of the Lamb on that day?
Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man. If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
The argument of Sabbath commanders about keeping the commandment of the sabbath, without being required to keep the whole law of Moses, is that those commandments are eternal and separate from the 'regular' law of God from the mount.
There is no Scripture stating that. It is a construct to keep a commandment of the law, without keeping the whole law.
And yet Scripture places all such commandments within the law. Circumcision as Jesus points out was not given by Moses in the law, but rather by God to Abraham as a token of His covenant of promise with him.
And yet, Jesus says that circumcision must be done on the 8th day, else the law is broken. Not a covenant token, but the law of Moses. Circumcision given by covenant with Abraham became subordinate to the law given by God to Moses.
And the Sabbath, which did not become commandment until the wilderness after Abraham received circumcision, is clearly subordinated to circumcision, that the law be not broken.
It is one thing to keep a Sabbath, and it is also good to keep one as a matter of commandment and law unto ourselves, but when we then demand others keep that Sabbath by commandment, we become judges of others by outward appearance only, and are separatists in same manner as the Pharisees that condemned Jesus pertaining to the Sabbath:
It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
The law was changed with the priesthood, from that of the outward letter to that of the inward Spirit, so that circumcision is no more outward, but inward only, and Sabbath is no more outward, but inward rest with God from our own works.
Those who continue to judge by outward appearance according to carnal commandment pertaining to times and days and meats and will worship and service to God, are carnally minded and cannot be subject to the law of the Spirit of Life and of grace:
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Sabbath commanders walk after the flesh, commanding rest and worship for God outwardly for appearance, but cannot inwardly worship and please God, because they do it not by the faith of Jesus, but by obedience to their own carnal commandment.
Circumcision was subordinated to the law, and the Sabbath was subordinated to circumcision in the law:
They who keep Sabbath by commandment subordinate themselves to the law, and are bound to keep the whole law. If not, they are hypocrites.
