God is putty for my soul

He's my crack filler

Whenever I've got a hole in my head

All I have to do is call on him

And he'll send Jesus the repair man

All it'll cost is my soul

But I don't mind

So long as he does a good job

I've got nothing to worry about

But if something else does break down

His number is on the speed dial of my heart

And I can call him day or night

And it won't cost anymore

Because I'm dirt poor.

Pretty good JJ,
IMO, Jesus "repairs" our spirit and mind, we are to trust Him to take us THROUGH our storms to see what He has waiting on the other side ;)
For me, it was total submission and faith that has grown exponentially in just the last 4 years. I wouldn't say Jesus "fixed" me but, He steered me in the right direction and has not failed me yet. He IS my provider and has come through time after time...but then, that's just me :)

What you are presenting is a popular but false view of Christ. It's not as bad as it could be but does reflect how many come across to unbelievers.

Surrendering to a belief in your head is absolute madness. Basically it's a form of death, you'll never escape what you've done to yourself.

May life be with you love, that's all I can say.

True, but accepting objective reality is different.

Much love!

Hahaha! Oh no, it's a form of LIFE. Yeah, so I did take a leap of faith...I was seeking Him for decades! I guess I had to REALLY taste and see that He is good... and, "It is impossible to please Him without faith". I put my faith to the test as, where I was, there was only one direction I could look in...up.
