(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000.

(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000.

(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171

Guns:

(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. (Yes, that's 80 million)

(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.

So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

Remember, 'Guns don't kill people, doctors do.'

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT
Almost everyone has at least one doctor.
This means you are over 9,000 times more likely to be killed by a doctor as by a gun owner!

Please alert your friends to this alarming threat.
We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!

For me, those with gun will use them for good or ill.
Yet I would not like to se them banned so that the people are totally at the mercy of their rulers. ( as in the post I put up)

For me..guns are a deterrent for the gov taking what they want , when they want, and from who they want.

I hate seeing all these mass killing sprees, but removing guns is not the answer. In UK they just use knives and trucks to do the same.

Which is naive. It is not about gun control at all. It is about a totalitarian State making the State the god who controls the people. Why is it that the same rabid Left-Liberal elitists who rant about gun control request the services of armed security guards and police to protect them from the deplorables? How come they do not ask their guardians to leave their guns at home? This is a typical Leftist double-standard.

Gun control in the UK (as an example) has not resulted in a lower homicide rate. The criminals simply substitute knives and machetes for their murder and mayhem. And also bring in firearms illegally.

Law-abiding citizens have shown over and over again that possessing a weapon for self-defense has enabled them to protect themselves and their loved ones.

Maybe that 'used' to be what they were for...but for decades it hasn't been.
The push is toward one world government and one world control of all people.
