If God is speaking to you in an audible voice that would be special revelation. If that were true, it should be added to Scripture.
I agree that this is the problem with people claiming direct commands or words from God.
But we have the ministry of prophets, which Paul approved of in his time, and prophets told of his future
if he went back to Jerusalem.
If one takes the parable of the seed and the sower, the seed is the word of God. It is planted in the hearts
of believers and grows to produce more seeds of God. Now these seeds are the living word of God in their
hearts, not scripture, but the meaning and intent of scripture.
We are given the Holy Spirit who teaches us the path and the walk through Gods word and speaking to our
hearts. Most times this is enough, but sometimes He will lay an issue on our hearts that we respond to.
These are words of faith or knowledge. And this is special revelation, but is often specific to a situation and
a need. And put simply it is for the people involved no more no less.
The nature of the Kingdom of God is the Holy Spirit leading His people. You cannot bound it, and certainly
restrict what God will or will not choose to do. Praise the Lord.
