Hi Everyone,

My name is Levi, I'm 18 years old, grew up on a farm in the Midwest and trying to figure out what to do now. I am taking a couple of college courses and working on a horse ranch.

I like to discuss the Bible and the ways of God, there is much more learning to do on my part!

I'm glad I'm here!

Welcome Levi, did you grow up in an Amish community?
Nope, we use all the conveniences of modern farming. I do repsect their ways, but I have no idea how they get everything done with horses??? I know about hard work, but not quit that hard. B)

Hi Livi,

How deep is the topsoil in your area? My family had a few horses while I was growing up.
Have you ever heard of the Loess Hills?
What kind of horses? Did you ride?

Thanks Angelina!

I'm a bit partial to farmers myself - I respect the work regardless of machinery or horse!

Was it a large or small farm?

Welcome to CB either way! :)

Hi and thanks Hammerstone!

It might sound large to someone not familiar with farm ground, but my parents have about 2,000 acres, this is not large, not by a long shot. When a guy gets up to 30,000+ it's then getting up there.

Bless you!

WELCOME !!!

:)
 See what I mean!

No, it's not large, I know farmers who went all corn a few years ago and came out millionaires, but they have about 50,000 acres.

Thanks for the welcome! I've been enjoying reading your posts.

Bless you!
