now disasters are occurring here and there. The Israel is at war now. These signs indicate that the great disasters of the last days foretold in the Bible are about to begin. How can we gain God’s protection and survive amidst these disasters?

KJV Malachi 3:6
6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
By the grace of God we are already preserved from destruction. The story of Job reveals that Satan would destroy each and every one of us if he had the freedom to do so. So there is nothing we can or need to do to gain God protection, just believe you already have it.
Our survival here on earth is not ,the be all and end all, for Christians.
Our final destination is secure so our role here in this life is to glorify God, not to live long and prosper.

Maranatha ! Come Lord Jesus come. When you see these things take place look up for your Redemption draweth near. The Parables of Jesus are for His faithful ones to be ready for He will come like a thief in the night when you least expect. We are to be the wise virgins having out lamps full and ready- to be prepared anticipating His Return to His bride.

I think you will find that the surprise only applies to those who are unbelievers, or those Christians who are asleep. . Those of us who have an ongoing relationship with Jesus and are watching for His return, will not be surprised.
KJV 1 Thessalonians 5:2-6
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

Has it ever left us.......or, have we pushed it away?We gain God's protection when we become ...born again...and are living a righteous life.
The pre-tribulation period...of which I conclude we are well into now, is a period of time leading up to ...The Great Tribulation...on a level that will cause many to think that all will go through the same but, not so per scripture. It will get much worse.
By any reasonable standard we began entering the pre tribulation in the 1960's when morals decayed deeply in just a few years and has proceeded in that fashion and is now deteriorating faster than ever before.
Even though we know not when God will bring the Bible age to a close, it will happen as He has planned.

I think God is pushed away pretty regularly. The jews did it with Jesus. The world at large appears to do it without giving it a second thought
