You’ve shared the gospel with them. They’ve rejected it and relentlessly speak against it.

How should believers treat them?
5eIf any of you lacks wisdom, flet him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and git will be given to him. 6hBut let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8he is ia double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
James 1:5-8
Be weary of conversations with atheists and agnostics that lead you to doubt

”If you have things to say, say them. But you find people that will listen. Talk to them. The ones who aren’t listening, pull back. Because you’re devaluing what you have to say by offering it to an audience that does nothing but reject it.”

Would Jesus and the apostles agree with that analysis and advice?

”The question to some degree is: How do you help someone that is lost? And the answer to that is: If they aren’t wiling to not be lost, you cannot help them. … There’s a statement in the New Testament … And that is: Don’t cast pearls before swine. And what that means is: If you’re trying to help and it doesn’t work then stop helping. It’s not helping. Right? It may just be wasting your time. It might be making things worse. Now, if you’re offering - if you’re offering something and it’s not taken then perhaps you should be offering it somewhere else.”

Does that align with Jesus’ teaching to his disciples?

Some people wait their whole lives only to hear, "I sent a rescue team, a boat, and a helicopter--what are you waiting for?"

As for selling books--who bought your own Bible? And if you have read it, how is it that you do not perceive that we live in the days of the five virgins that were told to go "buy" oil?
Oil biblically never represents books.

Matthew 5:5
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
(The majority of world leaders share this common characteristic: they smile gently and speak gently.)
Maybe some of the world leaders smile and speak gently when on camera, but meekness means being humble, teachable, not arrogant. No world leaders are like this.

Why don’t we stop? Is it because we don’t know when to? Is it something else?
