How to test a spirit...

Three ways to discern whether or not a spirit is of God.

1~Observe what a person does. In Matthew 7:15:20, Jesus explains that false prophets are known by their fruit-by their conduct and actions.

2~Observe whether or not a person exalts Jesus Christ as the Son of God and as Lord and Savior(1 Corinthians 12:3)

3~By listening to what a person says(or writes)

Does their confession line up with the truth of Gods Word?

2. a person exualts Christ when he obeys His commandments......loving God and neighbor through action.

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
