No question about it, Almighty GOD made a BIG mistake.

Jesus (God’s Son, or prophet, or whoever you like) commanded his followers:

Matthew 24:14 -- “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world
as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

Matthew 28:19-20 -- “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you …”

Mark 16:15 -- “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (human).”

Luke 24:46-47 -- “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer
and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins
should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”

John 1:29 -- “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Acts 1:8 -- “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you;
and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the end of the earth.”

And God made good progress spreading His gospel throughout the world.
Okay, so far so good.

But … 600 years later, God said to Himself:

“Oh Us, oh Us, We screwed up. We carried Our gospel to many nations,
but We just weren’t Almighty enough to preserve it to Our satisfaction.
We spent thousands of years arranging history and having Our precious
Scriptures written. And now look at the big mess We’re in. Oh Us, oh Us.
What shall We do? We will just have to send Gabriel down with a new
gospel and arrange for it to be spread all over the world. Oh Us, oh Us.”

I am not a Muslim but I do know how one would answer as that very point is part of there belief as to why " Mohammed was chosen "....

They believe that Jesus was sent to correct the text errors and misunderstanding that developed over time within the Jewish religion i.e the Torah and Jewish interpretation of it .

The Muslims then see Mohammed as the one chosen to follow Jesus to correct the errors that have crept into God's word scene Jesus corrected the earlier errors that effected the original Jewish Texts and understanding .

Once again, these are not my beliefs but rather its the answer a Muslim would give .
