Jesus the man was God in the flesh, not God the Spirit on the throne.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

This Scripture is falsely used to say that any imperfection of spirit, such as any unrighteous thought is sinning, because it is supposed to come short of the glory of God.

This is saying that being tempted with unrighteous thought or imagination for sin, is sinning and coming short of the glory of God. And if so, then Jesus was a sinner in all points:

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Therefore, having unwanted and unrighteous thoughts come to mind is temptation only, not sinning and coming short of the glory of God.

Receiving the tempting thoughts to do them, That is sinning and come short of the glory of God. That is taking such thoughts to heart to lust and commit them, and so become spiritually dead and separate from Christ.

Glorifying God on earth is enduring temptation of any thoughts that do not glorify the Father, yet without sinning, even as Jesus did in all points on earth.

Spiritual perfectionism is that of the resurrected body, where the spirits and minds of just men are made perfect, which not possible on earth in mortal flesh.

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.

God in glory of heaven cannot be tempted with sin, because He has no kind of unwanted, unrighteous, tempting thoughts.

Jesus the man therefore was indeed God made flesh, but as a man neither He nor His pure spirit and mind was as the glory of God in heaven, because He was tempted like all men on earth.

Jesus the man was God in the flesh, not God the Spirit on the throne.

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.

The glory of God in mortal flesh is not His perfection in heaven, but is His virtue on earth.

Sinning and coming short of the glory of God on earth, is coming short of His virtue as a man, not coming short of His perfected glory on the throne.

His virtue is purity and singleness of heart, without double mindedness nor lusting for sin.

Adam and Eve did not sin by hearing the tempting and lying thoughts of the devil, but only sinned by rejecting the virtue of God to obey His voice only, and instead sinned with the devil in lusting for that which God commanded not to eat.

We are called to have and show God's glory and virtue on earth, while yet in mortal flesh. We are not called to have and show His glorious perfection in heaven.

Having a thought that does not glorify God, is not sinning in spirit nor in flesh, but is only the natural temptations of all men on earth. Taking that thought to heart and lusting for it is sinning in spirit, and when done in the flesh, is sinning and coming short of Christ's virtue on earth.

Jesus had all the unrighteous, ungodly, vain, and inglorious thoughts cast at His mind by the devil, that man ever had, yet without sinning by them nor coming short of the glory of God in mortal flesh.

So can His flesh and bones on earth today, whose High Priest is therefore able to succor them through all temptations, since He likewise did the same through the ternal Spirit with the Father.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

Jesus wasn't held to the standard of God on the throne, and neither are we.

Tempting thoughts are temptation only, to be cast out of mind by our newly quickened spirit.

Only in the resurrection will we have the glory of God on the throne: no unwanted inglorious tempting thoughts whatsoever.

If you want clarification, or address a specific point made to correct it, then I'd be glad to hear it.

Otherwise, you're response is meaningless.

I believe that glorifying God is expressing His character. His character is reflected in His law, "for all Thy commandments are righteousness", and obedience to His commandments is to God's glory. Those in the end who are sealed, having "their Father's name in their foreheads", as opposed to the mark, (as name reflects character), have His character. "Merciful and gracious, long-suffering, abundant in goodness and truth". "Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and have the faith of Jesus".
(Psalm 119:172; Exodus 33:18-23, 34:6; Revelation 14:1; Revelation 14:12).

Just as Jesus, we glorify God on earth in virtuous life, that we are called to.

Those who preach the perfectionism of having not imperfect thought at all, are condemning Jesus as the biggest of sinners, who had every tempting thought the devil ever threw at man.
