Ever hear of the branch of philosophy called Epistemology? It is the study and limits of knowledge.

For you to imply the God of the Founding Father's is a bad suppostion on several levels.

1. I asked a question about @Lambano's post about knowing the sun is in the sky, faceteiousy leading to your pics from The Matrix. The bad supposition comment was about you suppoing something incorrect about the Founding Fathers. (The confusion to start shows profound poor epistemology).
2. It implies putting a reference to God is some form of idolatry when it isn't.
3. It implies there are different true Christian Gods, that the Founding Father's God was different from the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Jesus.
4. It implies the Founding Father's choose to put this on currency. In fact, it was not put on until late in Eisenhower's 2nd term in 1957, well past the era of the Founding Father's.

The Matrix is one of my favorite movies of all time. It makes one question the nature of reality. In applying epistemology, acceptable precision is a must. Responding with the fact that everything is energy and subatomic particles is irrelevant when being attacked by wolves.

Pastor John Eldredge wrote Wild at Heart, which pointed out this verse has been one of the most abused and destructive to all Christianity. This is because it denies the unfolding story, where God replaces our hearts of stone so we, born again Christians can trust our heart. Because of this verse from Jeremiah, many Christians are living in OT covenant, ignoring the blessings from the time of Ezekiel.

Yeah....
This is yet another attack on a current viewable miracle. Because some people don't like what it says. Adam and Eve didn't hold what God had said to heart and look at that result.

And some people want us to do that again because they want to commit sins that are expressly forbidden by scripture.

You can't be a Christian without scriptures. The written record is important.

Well sadly, Gods Word will cause division. I love the word of God for it is Gods absolute authority for man in how to conduct ourselves as His ambassadors here on earth.

Nope....never claimed that the Old Testament guys had the New Testament....that's YOUR excuse to license your own desires.

And the Patriarchs before Moses ALL had a personal relationship with God Himself....like sat down to meals (Abraham) made deals and wrestled (Jacob) or had ongoing dreams (Joseph) about upcoming events. And considering that the world was under a patriarchal and caste based societies...that is the LAW they followed or were dead. Seriously dead....and what is known popularly as apostate....meaning kicked out of their family.

Homeless today doesn't mean that you are without family...but the word "Apiru" does....which is what the term "Hebrew" is derived from. Hebrew literally means Homeless/no family wandering bum.

You did as dad said God had said to do or you were apostate. Slavery and an early death by means of hard labor is not how most people wish to live.

So this notion that people lived without Law/Scriptures is completely fictional.
