Which is it you are refering, fan or idol worship?

I am a fan of Gene Roddenberry though I know he was vehemently anti-Christian.

Now talk about L Ron Hubbard and Tom Cruise...

I think it's ok to be a fan of a celebrity and admire their talent (if they have any), as long as you don't progress into a fanatic. Unfortunately, many people don't know where to draw the line. In my experience, the closer you get to God, the less appealing celebrities and their lifestyles become.

I tend to enjoy the product rather than the celebrity who produces it. Books, movies, football games, whatever.

A fan ?

People today seem to be obsessed with some damn fool actor and run around calling out to or talking about someone you do not even know.

One joker in the pub was idolising wacko Jack O, i said what i thought about the child molester.

I like Ty Cobb.

I tend to agree with Redeemed and Aspen on this one. Bigandy and Mr. Rosenberger, I hear you too!
