To discover if someone's mind is infected with John Calvinism, notice if they try to prove that God caused them to believe in Jesus, vs them choosing to Trust in Christ.......... and if they also try to prove that Jesus didnt die for everyone.

When you find a person teaching that garbage, you've discovered a mind that is infected with John Calvinism.

The only way to do so would be another adoption, which I am not sure God would even allow.

I know you know this, whenever someone's interpretations of passages conflicts with plainly stated, clearly written Scripture, we know their understanding is incomplete.

One of my favorite passages concerning this topic is the one you alluded to, that He has sealed us unto the day of redemption. He's paid for us, and put His seal of ownership on us, sealed to show we are His property, to preserve His right of possession until the day He comes to retrieve His purchased possession. Who is able to unseal what God has sealed? No one!

it is the work of God we chose. God comes to us, draws us, Forces us to make a decision.

he who believes is condemned, he who does not believe is condemned already

That puts a human element into your salvation and that didn't happen.

That's the way the Bible is written though. There are so many places that say things like, "to them He gave the right to become children of God" refering to those who believed and received. "Come to Me all you who are weary and heavy burdened", "But if I be lifted up (crucified) I will draw all men to Myself", things like this, that if you read them for their face value show God's universal invitation, "Urging you as in Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God", if you read these just like that, as written, God would have us all, but leaves it to us to choose.

Maybe to you that means God isn't in Control, but then, it all depends on what you think God is doing. I think He is gathering a family of those who want to love Him and be with Him. That requires Choice. Just like Adam in the garden, we all choose, and our choices have real consequences. God, in His divine decree, ordained life that way.

Our requirement to make a choice for or against God is well established throughout the Bible. If to you that is works, then you need a new definition of "works". Repentance is itself a change of the mind.

But as always.......John Calvin has everything pre-destined, and that is where his theology has no connection to the NT.

What Calvin did was redefine....>>"God's Fore-knowledge" as "God predestined it all"., and that is why all Calvinists rant about "predestined this" and "soverniety that".

actually

a person is justified the moment they are saved by faith.. this justification is eternal (called eternal life)

a person is in the process of being sanctified. or made into the image of Christ. which is ongoing until they die

a person will be glorified when resurected to a new life..

A person is saved from penalty of sin (justification)
they are being saved from the power of sin (sanctification)
they will be saved from the ability to son (glorification)

Where out of thin air did you pull that "if that is true, why don't you trust in Christ to keep you saved?" do you just make stuff up as you go. I'm OSAS, you can't have the Holy Spirit without salvation. The apostle Paul wrote,

Ephesians 2:8- For by Grace (of God) you have been saved through faith (in Jesus Christ), and that not of yourselves (you didn't do anything); it is the gift of God, not of works (no human effort), lest anyone should boast.

Then you called me Calvinist for quoting the Apostle Paul.
